What is the mathematical equation used when solving calorimetry problems? What does each variable in the equation represent?
liubo4ka [24]

Answer : The mathematical equation used when solving calorimetry problems is:

q=m\times c\times \Delta T}

Explanation :

Calorimetry : It is determining the changes in the energy of a system by measuring the heat transferred with surroundings.

Formula used :

q=m\times c\times \Delta T}

where,

c = specific heat capacity  of calorimeter

m = mass of a substance

q = heat required

\Delta T = change in temperature of substance

Can someone help me find the theoretical value of methane? It is chemistry
antiseptic1488 [7]

Methane is lighter than air, having a specific gravity of 0.554. It is only slightly soluble in water. It burns readily in air, forming carbon dioxide and water vapour; the flame is pale, slightly luminous, and very hot. The boiling point of methane is −162 °C (−259.6 °F) and the melting point is −182.5 °C (−296.5 °F). Methane in general is very stable, but mixtures of methane and air, with the methane content between 5 and 14 percent by volume, are explosive. Explosions of such mixtures have been frequent in coal mines and collieries and have been the cause of many mine disasters.

the physical properties of 10 grams of iron are the same as the ___ properties of 20 grams of iron a) reactive b) physical c) ch
Katen [24]
B) Physical. No matter how much of something there is, it is still considered that thing. They still have the same physical properties, just in a higher proportion. A larger amount of something would make it react differently to different catalysts, as well as chemically.
