Answer:

A tensor is a quantity, for example a stress or a strain, which has magnitude, direction, and a plane in which it acts. Stress and strain are both tensor quantities. ... A tensor is a quantity, for example a stress or a strain, which has magnitude, direction, and a plane in which it acts.

Inertia Tensor. where I = the inertia tensor. The angular momentum of a rigid body rotating about an axis passing through the origin of the local reference frame is in fact the product of the inertia tensor of the object and the angular velocity. ... As shown in [7], the inertia tensor is symmetric.

An RL circuit contains a resistor with R = 6800 Ω and an inductor with L = 2300 µH. If the impedance of this circuit is 160,000
Rainbow [258]

| Impedance | = √ [R² +(ωL)²]

R² = 6800² = 4.624 x 10⁷

(ωL)² = (2 · π · f · 2.3 · 10⁻³)²

          = 2.0884 x 10⁻⁴  f²

| Z | =  √[ (4.624 x 10⁷) + (2.0884 x 10⁻⁴ f²) ]  =  1.6 x 10⁵

     (1.6 x 10⁵)²  =  (4.624 x 10⁷) + (2.0884 x 10⁻⁴ f²)

     (2.56 x 10¹⁰) - (4.624 x 10⁷)  =  2.0884 x 10⁻⁴ f²

Frequency² =   (2.56 x 10¹⁰ - 4.624 x 10⁷)  /  2.0884 x 10⁻⁴

                    =       2.555 x 10¹⁰ / 2.0884 x 10⁻⁴

                    =          1.224 x 10¹⁴

                    =          122,400 GHz          <== my calculation

                                      11.1 MHz <== online impedance calculator

Obviously, I must have picked up some rounding errors
in the course of my calculation.

10. Hamilton How long does it take Lewis travelling at 156 m.p.h to cover 16 miles?
Anvisha [2.4K]

Answer: Hello!

Lewis is travelling at 165 mph, which means miles per hour, this says that he does 165 miles in one hour.

We want to know how much time takes to cover 16 miles.

this can be calculated as the quotient of the distance and the velocity; this is:

t = \frac{16 mi}{165 mi/h} = 0.096 h

if we want to write this in minutes, then:

we know that one hour has 60 minutes, then 0.096 hours has:

0.096h*60mins/1h = 5.8 minutes.

then Lewis needs 5.8 minutes in order to cover 16 miles if his speed is 156 miles per hour.

A force of 20. Newtons to the left exerted on a cart for 10. Seconds. For what period of time must a 50.-newton force to the rig
FinnZ [79.3K]
Impulse = (force) x (time)

The first impulse was (20 N) x (10 sec) = 200 meters/sec

The second one is (50 N) x (time) and we want it equal to the first one, so

(50 N) x (time) = 200 meters/sec

Divide each side by 50N :    Time = 200/50 = 4 seconds

By the way, the quantity we're playing with here is the cart's momentum.
