ST = RS , that is

6x = 4x + 4 ( subtract 4x from both sides )

2x = 4 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 2

Then

RT = RS + ST  = 4x + 4 + 6x = 10x + 4 , so

RT = 10(2) + 4 = 20 + 4 = 24
