The volume of this sapphire in cubic centimeters is 24.4 cm^3

We have the following information;

Mass of the Blue Giant = 486.52 carats

Density of the blue giant = 3.98 g/cm3

Volume of the blue giant = ?

Since the density is given in g/cm3, we must convert the mass to grams.

We have the conversion factor; 5 carats = 1 g

So;

If 5 carats make 1g

486.52 carats make 486.52 carats × 1g/ 5 carats

= 97.30 g

Since;

Density = mass/volume

Volume = Mass/Density

Volume = 97.30 g/3.98 g/cm3

Volume =  24.4 cm^3

Stoichiometry time! Remember to look at the equation for your molar ratios in other problems.

31.75 g Cu | 1 mol Cu | 2 mol Ag | 107.9 g Ag         6851.65
⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻   →   ⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻⁻  = 107.9 g Ag
       ∅        | 63.5 g Cu | 1 mol Cu | 1 mol Ag              63.5

There's also a shorter way to do this: Notice the molar ratio from Cu to Ag, which is 1:2. When you plug in 31.75 into your molar mass for Cu, it equals 1/2 mol. That also means that you have 1 mol Ag because of the ratio, qhich you can then plug into your molar mass, getting 107.9 as well.

Describe the flow of blood to the human body, including through each of the four chambers of the heart. Explain how the blood ch
xeze [42]
Hey there,

The blood needs to flow at a great and constant speed. It can not flow very slow because that can be warning's of a heart attack because your blood is using alot of force and its trying to provide as much blood as possible to arrive at the heart in order for your body to live. This is why we should drink water because as we drink water, it helps our blood flow through out our body well and so that we ma not have any problem now and in the future.
