Oh wait if what I said is wrong actually and now of what I'm telling you right now is really actually the answer... so when 108 grams of water at a temperature of 22.5c is mixed with 65.1 grams of water at an unknown temperature,the final temperature of the resulting mixture of 47.9c.

the small electric shock you feel when you rub your shoes on carpet and touch something metal is caused by..?1. direct current2.
vovikov84 [41]

Answer:

1. direct current  2. induction  3. conduction

Explanation:

When we walk barefoot on a carpet there is friction between the carpet surface and the lower surface of the feet which results in the exchange of charges between the two surfaces. During this course the carpet loses electron to the surface of the foot. Now, the charge on the carpet is static because it is an insulator but a human body being a good conductor of electricity has mobility of the charges.(3)

These mobile charges on the surface of a human body spread and look for a path of dissipation to a reservoir. When we bring our hand near a metal it induces an opposite charge near the surface of the metal,(2) this happens within a fraction of seconds. Now there is a positive charge on the nearest point on the metal and the negative charge on its farthest end is induced according to the conservation of charges.

As soon as the hand touches the metal (1)there is a transfer of charge from our body to the metal generating a very small shock. This happens only if we continue to stand on an insulated surface due to which the charge doesn't gets transferred to the ground.

A box is moved 10 m across a smooth floor by a force F making a downward angle with the floor, so that there is effectively a 4
Brut [27]

Answer:

Zero

Explanation:

Impulse is defined as the change in momentum.

Impulse is also defined as the product of force and the time duration of application of the force.

In the given problem, since there is no motion in the vertical direction, therefore the velocity of the box along the vertical direction is zero. So, momentum of the box along the vertical is also zero.

Hence the change is momentum is also zero along vertical direction.

Thus the impulse delivered by the box is zero.

A wheel of diameter 40.0 cm starts from rest and rotates with a constant angular acceleration of 3.00 rad/s^2. At the instant th
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

ac= 15.07 m/s²

Explanation:

The Wheel rotates with a constant angular acceleration.:

Centripetal acceleration is calculated as follows:

ac =ω² *R   Formula (1)

ac =v² / R    Formula (2)

Kinematics of the wheel

We apply the equations of circular motion uniformly accelerated :

ωf²= ω₀² + 2αθ  Formula (3)

v = ω* R Formula (4)

Where:

θ : angle that the wheel has rotated in a given time interval (rad)

α : angular acceleration (rad/s²)

ω₀ : initial angular speed ( rad/s)

ωf : final angular speed   ( rad/s)

v: tangential velocity of a point on the rim ( m/s)

R : radius of  wheel (m)

ac: centripetal acceleration, (m/s²)

Data:

D = 40.0 cm : diameter of the wheel

R = D/2= 40.0 cm/ 2 = 20 cm = 0.2m

α = 3.00 rad/s^2

ω₀ = 0

n = 2 revolutions : number of revolutions

θ =2πn (rad) = 2π*2 (rad) = 4π rad

Calculate of the ωf

We replace data in the formula (3)

ωf²= ω₀² + 2αθ

ωf²= 0 + 2(3)(4π)

ωf²= 24π

w_{f} = \sqrt{24\pi }

ωf = 8.68 rad/s

Calculate of the v

We replace data in the formula (4)

v = ω*R

v = (8.68)*(0.2)

v = 1.736 m/s

Calculate of the ac

We replace data in the formula (1)

ac = ( ω)²*(R)

ac = (8.68)²*(0.2)

ac = 15.07  m/s²

We replace data in the formula (2)

ac = v²/ R

ac = ( 1.736  )²/(0.2)

ac = 15.07  m/s²
