Assuming each trial represents 1000years, and <u>rock </u>samples were found, the rock sample will be given half-life of

  • The rock sample will be 2000years old

<h3>Isotope</h3>

We know that the parent Isotope remaining is given by the expression

\frac{1}{2}^n

where,

n = number of half lives passed

<h3>lokium Isotope</h3>

From the question, the parent Isotope remaining is 25\% lokium

0.25 = \frac{1}{4} = \frac{1}{2^2} = \frac{1}{2}^2

Therefore,

\frac{1}{2}^2 means 2 half lives have passed.

If from the question,

1 half life = 1000years

<h3>Rock age</h3>

Therefore,

The rock sample's age = 2*1000 = 2000years

<h3>Answer;</h3>

<em>A wave </em>

<em><u>A wave</u></em> is any form of a disturbance that carries energy from one place to another through a matter and space

<h3>Explanation;</h3>
  • Waves carry energy from one point, the source to another point or place. The transmission of a wave may occur through the space or through a material medium.
  • Electromagnetic waves are those waves whose transmissions occurs through the space, they do not require material medium for transmission, for example, radio waves, while mechanical waves are those that require material medium for transmission, for example sound waves.
  • The energy of wave depends on the frequency of the wave and the wavelength of that particular wave.

Explain what the star looks like to Jane
S_A_V [24]
The star looks like a desirable hunk of masculinity to Jane. But to John, the star looks like a wimpy momma's boy who might compete with him for Jane's attention. Jane and John have different impressions of the star because of their gender-specific instincts that have evolved during thousands of millenia of human evolution.
