  • Boyle's law states that at constant temperature, the volume of gas is inversely proportional to the gas pressure.
  • Gay-Lussac's law states that pressure (P) and absolute temperature (T) of the gas are directly proportional.

Therefore, the relationship between the number of moles and the volume of gas is determined by the Avogadro's law in this equation.
