The sun produces energy by the process of nuclear fusion. it happens when lighter nuclei combine to produce a larger, heavier nucleus. In the process, energy is released. Nuclear fusion requires very high temperatures and pressures.

Answer:

The sun generates energy in its core in a process called nuclear fusion. During nuclear fusion, the sun's extremely high pressure and hot temperature cause hydrogen atoms to come apart and their nuclei (the central cores of the atoms) to fuse or combine.

Aleks04 [339]

Answer:

In order to prepare 10 mL, 5 μM; 2 mL of the 25 μM stock solution will be taken and diluted with water up to 10 mL mark.

In order to prepare 10 mL, 10 μM; 4 mL of the 25 μM stock solution will be taken and diluted up to 10 mL mark.

In order to prepare 10 mL, 15 μM; 6 mL of the 25 μM stock solution will be taken and diluted up to 10 mL mark.

In order to prepare 10 mL, 20 μM; 8 mL of the 25 μM stock solution will be taken and diluted up to 10 mL mark.

Explanation:

Using the dilution equation:

no of moles before dilution = no of moles after dilution.

Molarity x volume (initial)= Molarity x volume (final).

In order to prepare 10 mL, 5 μM from 25 μM solution,

Final molarity = 5 μM, final volume = 10 mL, initial molarity = 25 μM, initial volume = ?

25 x initial volume = 5 x 10

Initial volume = 50/25

                       = 2 mL

2 mL of the 25 μM stock solution will be taken and diluted up to 10 mL mark.

In order to prepare 10 mL, 10 μM from 25 μM stock,

25 x initial volume = 10 x 10

Initial volume = 100/25 = 4 mL

4 mL of the 25 μM stock solution will be taken and diluted up to 10 mL mark.

In order to prepare 10 mL, 15 μM from 25 μM stock,

25 x initial volume = 15 x 10

initial volume = 150/25 = 6 mL

6 mL of the 25 μM stock solution will be taken and diluted up to 10 mL mark.

In order to prepare 10 mL, 20 μM from 25 μM stock,

25 x initial volume = 20 x 10

initial volume = 200/25 = 8 mL

8 mL of the 25 μM stock solution will be taken and diluted up to 10 mL mark.

Answer:

C.) 35

Explanation:

The mass is made up of the total protons and neutrons in an atom. Protons and neutrons both have a mass of 1 amu. Electrons are not included in this measurement because they have an insignificant mass (practically 0).

(17 protons x 1 amu) + (18 neutrons x 1 amu) = 35 amu

Therefore, if an atom contains 17 protons and 18 neutrons, the mass should be 35 amu.

One gallon of water has a mass of 3.78kg. Water is 11.2% hydrogen by mass. Calculate the mass of hydrogen contained in this gall
olchik [2.2K]

Answer:

A model is developed for predicting oxygen uptake, muscle blood flow, and blood chemistry changes under exercise conditions. In this model, the working muscle mass system is analyzed. The conservation of matter principle is applied to the oxygen in a unit mass of working muscle under transient exercise conditions. This principle is used to relate the inflow of oxygen carried with the blood to the outflow carried with blood, the rate of change of oxygen stored in the muscle myoglobin, and the uptake by the muscle. Standard blood chemistry relations are incorporated to evaluate venous levels of oxygen, pH, and carbon dioxide.
