A reflected wavelength of light is detected by the detector and is decoded as a logic one; absorbed or transmitted wavelengths are not detected, there absence being decoded as a logic zero.

The car travels around the portion of a circular track having a radius of r = 500 ft such that when it is at point A it has a ve
stellarik [79]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given

velocity at A is v=4\ ft/s

For r=500\ ft

velocity is increasing at \dot{v}=0.004t\ ft/s^2

Tangential acceleration is given by

a_t=\frac{\mathrm{d} v}{\mathrm{d} t}

a_t=0.004t=\frac{\mathrm{d} v}{\mathrm{d} t}

\int 0.004tdt=\int dv

\int dv=\int 0.004tdt

v=0.002t^2+c

at t=0\ v=4\ ft/s

4=0.002\cdot 0+c

c=4\ ft/s

thus v=0.002t^2+4

Velocity in terms of Displacement is given by

v=\frac{\mathrm{d} s}{\mathrm{d} t}

\Rightarrow \int ds=\int \left ( 0.002t^2+4\right )dt

\Rightarrow s=\frac{0.002t^3}{3}+4t

When car has traveled \frac{3}{4} th of distance i.e.

s=\frac{3}{4}\times (2\pi r)=\frac{3\pi r}{2}

s=750\pi

750\pi =\frac{0.002t^3}{3}+4t

\Rightarrow \frac{0.002t^3}{3}+4t-2356.5=0

on solving we get t=139.23\ s

Thus velocity at t=139.23\ s

v=42.76\ s

(b)Acceleration when car has traveled three-fourth the way of track

normal acceleration a_n=\frac{v^2}{r}=\frac{(42.76)^2}{500}

a_n=3.658\ m/s^2

Tangential acceleration a_t at t=139.23\ s

a_t=0.556\ m/s^2

Net acceleration a_t=\sqrt{(a_n)^2+(a_t)^2}

a_n=\sqrt{(3.658)^2+(0.556)^2}

a_n=3.7\ m/s^2

You’ve experienced convection cooling if you’ve ever extended your hand out the window of a moving vehicle or into a flowing wat
Anna35 [415]

Answer:

Condition A

Heat flux is 1400 W/M^2

Condition B

Heat flux is 12800 w/m^2

Explanation:

Given that:

T_s is given as  30 degree celcius

condition A

Air temperature =  - 5 degree c

convection coefficient h = 40 w/m^2. k

heat\ flux = \frac{Q}{a}= h\Delta = 40{30 - (-5)} = 1400 w/m^2

condition A

water temperature  = 10 degree c

convection coefficient = 800 w/m^2.k

heat\ flux = \frac{Q}{A} = H(\Delta} = 800\times (30-14) = 12800w/m^2

A 13.7g sample of a compound exerts a pressure of 2.01atm in a 0.750L flask at 399K. What is the molar mass of the compound?a. 3
Katarina [22]

Answer: Option D) 298 g/mol  is the correct answer

Explanation:

Given that;

Mass of sample m = 13.7 g

pressure P = 2.01 atm

Volume V = 0.750 L

Temperature T = 399 K

Now taking a look at the ideal gas equation

PV = nRT

we solve for n

n = PV/RT

now we substitute

n = (2.01 atm x 0.750 L) / (0.0821 L-atm/mol-K x 399 K )

= 1.5075 / 32.7579

= 0.04601 mol

we know that

molar mass of the compound = mass / moles

so

Molar Mass = 13.7 g / 0.04601 mol

= 297.7 g/mol  ≈ 298 g/mol

Therefore Option D) 298 g/mol  is the correct answer

How do you identify all sensors, functions, and where we can use them?
Alex17521 [72]

Sensor/Detectors/Transducers are electrical, opto-electrical, or electronic devices composed of specialty electronics or otherwise sensitive materials, for determining if there is a presence of a particular entity or function. Many vehicles including cars, trains, buses etc. all use sensors to monitor oil temperature and pressure, throttle and steering systems and so many more aspects.
