Then the new pressure of the sample of nitrogen is  1.28 atm

So, option D is correct one.

Calculation,

Formula used : P_{1} V_{1} /T_{1} =P_{2} V_{2}/T_{2}             (i)

Where , P is pressure and V is the volume

Given data,

P_{1} = 3. 65 atm

V_{1} = 21. 2 L

P_{2} =

V_{2} = 62. 6 L

T_{1} = 22°C = 22+273 = 295 K

T_{2} = 34°C = 34 +273 = 307 K

Putting the value of all data given in equation (i) we get,

3. 65 atm ×  21. 2 L/295 K = P_{2} ×  62. 6 L / 307 K

P_{2} = 3. 65 atm × 21. 2 L × 307 K/295 K × 62. 6 L = 1.28 atm

Then the new pressure the sample of nitrogen is  1.28 atm

1: The atomic number of an atom is equivalent to which of the following?
IrinaVladis [17]
I think the correct answer among the choices presented above is option C. The <span>atomic number of an atom is equivalent to the number of protons in the nucleus. For a neutral atom, it is also the number of electrons since in a neutral atom protons and electrons are present in equal number.</span>

What term is defined as splitting large nuclei into smaller ones
svetoff [14.1K]

Answer:

Nuclear Fission.

Explanation:

This happens when a high-energy particle collides with a radioisotope, which splits into 2 daughter nuclei, several neutrons (which can collide with more radioisotopes to cause a chain reaction); and a lot of energy. That's why nuclear power plants are so good.

Controlled nuclear chain reactions
Lunna [17]
The nuclear reactions which are under experimenter's control are said to be controlled nuclear reactions. In this, you can maintain the speed of the incident particle. α and β-decay process are examples of non-controlled nuclear reactions.
