The Magnitude of the Vector is 10.39m and the direction of the vector is - 46.7°.

<u>Explanation:</u>

GIven dx=7.14m and dy= -7.55m,

The Magnitude of the Vector=\sqrt{dy^{2} +dx^{2} }

Magnitude d= \sqrt{(7.14)^{2} +(-7.55)^{2} } .

                  d=\sqrt{50.97+57}

                  d=\sqrt{107.98}

                  d= 10.39m.

Direction Ф = tan^{-1}\frac{dy}{dx}

                      =tan^{-1} \frac{-7.55}{7.14}

                      = tan^{-1}(-1.06)

                Ф    = - 46.7°.

A parallel-plate capacitor is connected to a battery until it is fully charged. Then, the capacitor is disconnected from the bat
Helga [31]

Answer:

The potential between the plates will decrease.

Explanation:

An insulator is usually placed between the parallel plates and is also called a dielectric because it makes the amount of charge a capacitor can accommodate to increase at a particular potential difference.

Furthermore, the dielectric effect will make the electric field of the charged capacitor which is not connected to a source of supply to decrease.

Now, when the battery is removed, the charge Q remains constant and Capacity C will increase.

Formula for the potential difference is here;

V = Q/C

Since the numerator Q is constant and the denominator C increases, it means the potential difference V will decrease

tigry1 [53]

Answer:

The answer is "5.53 \ \frac{m}{s}"

Explanation:

apply the formula for calculating the average velocity to the relative air

V_{PG} =V_{PA}+V_{AG}

\Rightarrow  V_{PA} = V_{PG} -V_{AG}

Given value:

V_{AG} = -2 \ \frac{m}{s}

V_{PG} =3.53

\Rightarrow  V_{PA} = 3.53 - (-2) \\\\\Rightarrow  V_{PA} = 3.53 +2 \\\\\Rightarrow  V_{PA} = 5.53  \\\\

The final answer is "5.53 \ \frac{m}{s}" in the south-east direction.
