Force is a vector quantity which has magnitude as well as direction. Before attempting to add the different forces we should very clearly understand the object under consideration first. After the system is chosen,we should count only these forces which are acting only on the object under consideration.

The forces may  be along a line. They may be planar or non-planar ,but they must act only on the same body .If the forces are acting on different bodies ,we can't add them as we can't get a specific direction between them. The objects may be on different plane. The force has no impact on the body under consideration as it has no role in changing the state of  motion or rest of the body.

Hence forces can be added only if they are acting on the .same object.

Hence option 1 is right.

The answer is a) because otherwise the forces can't be added as the objects will be different.

Que unidad de medida se utiliza para expresar la capacidad o volumen de un objeto? Da un ejemplo
galina1969 [7]

Answer:

<em>Explicado a continuación</em>

Explanation:

1\ lt=1\ dm^3,\ 1\ m^3=1000\ lt

Which change will always result in an increase in the gravitational force between 2 objects
Nat2105 [25]
<span>Reducing the distance between them. In theory, also increasing the mass; but you can't really change the mass of an object. However, you can compare the forces if you replace an object by a different object, which has a different mass.

Why is there so much variation in human skin coloration? a. This occurred because humans underwent natural selection, which resu
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

<u>e. All of these.</u>

Explanation:

  • The skin in humans ranges from darkest to the lightest color, as a result of genetic makeup, exposure to the sun rays, skin pigmentation may be either due to the evolutionary process of natural selection, and it may be due to the biochemical effects of the UV rays.
  • As the pigment in the skin of humans is affected by the content of melanin in the body that causes the determination of skins cells of the darker colored humans, and the light skin is determined by the bluish-white tissues under the dermis and the hemoglobin.
  • The emergence of skin pigments dates back to 1.2 billion years ago. When the harsh climatic conditions drove the early humans into arid and open landscapes. In general, the people living near to equator have darkly pigmented than those living in poles are lightly pigmented.

What is the moment of inertia of a 2.0 kg, 20-cm-diameter disk for rotation about an axis (a) through the center, and (b) throug
FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

(a) I=0.01 kg.m²

(b) I=0.03 kg.m²

Explanation:

Given data

Mass of disk M=2.0 kg

Diameter of disk d=20 cm=0.20 m

To Find

(a) Moment of inertia through the center of disk

(b) Moment of inertia through the edge of disk

Solution

For (a) Moment of inertia through the center of disk

Using the equation of moment  of Inertia

I=\frac{1}{2}MR^{2}\\  I=\frac{1}{2}(2.0kg)(0.20m/2)^{2}\\  I=0.01 kg m^{2}

For (b) Moment of inertia through the edge of disk

We can apply parallel axis theorem for calculating moment of inertia

I=(1/2)MR^{2}+MD\\ Here\\D=R\\I=(1/2)(2.0kg)(0.20m/2)^{2}+(2.0kg)(0.20m/2)^{2}\\  I=0.03kgm^{2}
