The mean may be calculated by summing the values of the refractive index and dividing the sum by the number of experiments. This is:
Mean = (1.45 + 1.56 + 1.54 + 1.44 + 1.54 + 1.53)/6
Mean = 1.51

The mean absolute error is the sum of the absolute values of errors divided by the number of trials:
MAE = (|1.45-1.51|+|1.56-1.51|+|1.54-1.51|+|1.44-1.51|+|1.54-1.51|+|1.53-1.51|)/6
MAE = 0.043

The fractional error is the MAE divided by the actual value:
Fractional error = 0.043 / 1.51
Fractional error = 43/1510

The percentage error is the fractional error multiplied by 100:
Percentage error = 2.85%

Shalnov [3]

Answer:

x ’= 1,735 m,  measured from the far left

Explanation:

For the system to be in equilibrium, the law of rotational equilibrium must be fulfilled.

Let's fix a reference system located at the point of rotation and that the anticlockwise rotations have been positive

They tell us that we have a mass (m1) on the left side and another mass (M2) on the right side,

the mass that is at the left end x = 1.2 m measured from the pivot point, the mass of the right side is at a distance x and the weight of the body that is located at the geometric center of the bar

           x_{cm} = 1.2 -1

          x_ {cm} = 0.2 m

          Σ τ = 0

          w₁ 1.2 + mg 0.2 - W₂ x = 0

          x = \frac{m_1 g\ 1.2 \ + m g \ 0.2}{M_2 g}

          x = \frac{m_1 \ 1.2 \ + m \ 0.2 }{M_2}

let's calculate

          x = \frac{2.9 \ 1.2 \ + 4 \ 0.2 }{8.00}2.9 1.2 + 4 0.2 / 8

          x = 0.535 m

measured from the pivot point

measured from the far left is

           x’= 1,2 + x

           x'=  1.2 + 0.535

           x ’= 1,735 m

A 28-kg beginning roller skater is standing in front of a wall. By pushing against the wall, she is propelled backward with a ve
Scorpion4ik [409]

Answer:

33.6 Ns backward.

Explanation:

Impulse: This can be defined as the product of force and time. The S.I unit of impulse is Ns.

From Newton's second law of motion,

Impulse = change in momentum

I = mΔv................................. Equation 1

Where I = impulse, m = mass of the skater, Δv = change in velocity = final velocity - initial velocity.

Given: m = 28 kg, t = 0.8 s, Δv = -1.2-0 = -1.2 m/s (Note: the initial velocity of the skater = 0 m/s)

Substituting into equation 1

I = 28(-1.2)

I = -33.6 Ns

Thus the impulse = 33.6 Ns backward.

What step in the water cycle involves returning of fresh water to the Earth?
7nadin3 [17]

Hi!

Condensation is crucial to the water cycle because it is responsible for the formation of clouds. These clouds may produce precipitation, which is the primary route for water to return to the Earth's surface within the water cycle. Condensation is the opposite of evaporation.

Hope this helps!
