The image distance is equal to the object distance:

Distance between the spider and mirror = 20cm

So, the image is formed 20cm inside the mirror

Distance between the person and mirror = 65cm

Distance between the image and person = 65+20= 85cm

On a smooth horizontal floor, an object slides into a spring which is attached to another mass that is initially stationary. Whe
saul85 [17]

Answer: (E) Momentum and mechanical energy

Explanation:

 The momentum and the mechanical energy is basically conserved during the given interaction process as the forces on the given system are in the form of internal nature and then the momentum are get conserved.

According to the given question, on the smooth floor when an object are slides by using the spring then the momentum and the mechanical energy are conserved.

The mechanical energy is the combination of both the kinetic and the potential energy that is used for doing some amount of work. Therefore, Option (E) is correct answer.

What is the speed in km/min of a skater who travels a distance of 210 m in a time of 30 seconds
Artyom0805 [142]

Answer: 0.42 km/min

Explanation:

total distance traveled(in meters) = 210m

total distance traveled(in km) = 210 ÷ 1000 = 0.21 km

total time taken(in seconds) = 30 s

total time taken(in minutes) = 30 ÷ 60 = 0.5 s

speed =(distance traveled)÷(time taken)[in km/min] = 0.21 ÷ 0.5 = 0.42km/min

A 0.954-kg toy car is powered by three D cells (4.50 V total) connected directly to a small DC motor. The car has an effective e
Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

0.06 A

Explanation:

We have given mass =0.954 kg

velocity =1.27 m/sec

efficiency =0.361 the output kinetic energy of the motor KE=\frac{1}{2}mv^2=\frac{1}{2}\times 0.954\times 1.27^2=0.769\ J

Efficiency =0.361

so input to the motor = output/efficiency

so input to the motor = \frac{0.769}{0.361}=2.1301

we know that P=\frac{E}{T} where E is energy and T is time so P=\frac{2.1301}{7.88}=0.2703W

We know that power P=VI we have given V=4.5 VOLT

So current I=\frac{P}{V}=\frac{0.2703}{4.5}=0.06 A

Find the mass of a child who runs at a speed of 4 m/s to get a pizza with extra cheese. His momentum is 120 kg•m/s.
tamaranim1 [39]
Wow! Very simple. Use the equation for momentum which is p=mv. You know your momentum and velocity, so do 120=m(4), now solve for m, which is 30. The mass of the child is 30 kg
