In glycolysis, glucose molecule is converted into pyruvate molecules .

It can't be cellular respiration because it starts always with glucose i.e glycolysis. But here it is the process after glycolysis (starting from pyruvate) and changing into lactic acid. It's an aerobic respiration called as lactic acid fermentation.

Answer : The temperature of the chloroform will be, 101.67^oF

Explanation :

First we have to calculate the mass of chloroform.

\text{Mass of chloroform}=\text{Density of chloroform}\times \text{Volume of chloroform}=1.4832g/ml\times 74.81ml=110.958g

conversion used : (1cm^3=1ml)

Now we have to calculate the temperature of the chloroform.

Formula used :

q=m\times c\times (T_{final}-T_{initial})

where,

q = amount of heat or energy = 1.46 kJ = 1460 J   (1 kJ = 1000 J)

c = specific heat capacity = 0.96J/g.K

m = mass of substance = 110.958 g

T_{final} = final temperature = ?

T_{initial} = initial temperature = 25^oC=273+25=298K

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get:

1460J=110.958g\times 0.96J/g.K\times (T_{final}-298)K

T_{final}=311.706K

Now we have to convert the temperature from Kelvin to Fahrenheit.

The conversion used for the temperature from Kelvin to Fahrenheit is:

^oC=\frac{5}{9}\times (^oF-32)

As we know that, K=^oC+273 or, K-273=^oC

K-273=\frac{5}{9}\times (^oF-32)

K=\frac{5}{9}\times (^oF-32)+273  ...........(1)

Now put the value of temperature of Kelvin in (1), we get:

311.706K=\frac{5}{9}\times (^oF-32)+273

T_{final}=101.67^oF

Therefore, the temperature of the chloroform will be, 101.67^oF

Calculate the wavelength of the photon that would be absorbed or emitted. Round your answer to 3 significant digits.
Flauer [41]

This is an incomplete question, the image for the given question is attached below.

Answer : The wavelength of photon would be absorbed, 3.06\times 10^{-7}m

Explanation :

From the given diagram of energy we conclude that,

Energy at ground state, A = 400 zJ

Energy of 2nd excited state, C = 1050 zJ

Now we have to calculate the energy of the photon.

E=E_c-E_A

E=(1050-400)zJ= 650zJ=650\times 10^{-21}J

Now we have to calculate the wavelength of the photon.

Formula used :

E=h\times \nu

As, \nu=\frac{c}{\lambda}

So, E=h\times \frac{c}{\lambda}

where,

E = energy of photon = 650\times 10^{-21}J

\nu = frequency of photon

h = Planck's constant = 6.626\times 10^{-34}Js

\lambda = wavelength of photon  = ?

c = speed of light = 3\times 10^8m/s

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get:

650\times 10^{-21}J=(6.626\times 10^{-34}Js)\times \frac{(3\times 10^{8}m/s)}{\lambda}

\lambda=3.06\times 10^{-7}m

Therefore, the wavelength of photon would be absorbed, 3.06\times 10^{-7}m

PLEASE HELP ASAP!! {40 POINTS}
yan [13]

Answer:

The correct answer is -

FALSIFIABLE:

Aloe vera gel can heal wounds by boosting cell renewal.

Drinking aloe juice can reduce the risk of lung cancer.

NON-FALSIFIABLE:

Aloe vera gel is the best natural skin moisturizer.

Aloe vera juice tastes better than carrot juice.

Explanation:

Falsifiable is the ability or chances of any hypothesis, claim or statement to be proved wrong. In such a hypothesis, it is possible to carry an experimental observation that disproves the idea in claim or question.

In the given examples

Aloe vera gel can heal wounds by boosting cell renewal.

Drinking aloe juice can reduce the risk of lung cancer.

There is no observation in the favor of the claim so there more likely to be falsifiable whereas, Aloe vera gel is the best natural skin moisturizer.

Aloe vera juice tastes better than carrot juice are more non-falsifiable as these are based on personal choice or experimental observation.
