Answer: be alert for pedestrians near the bus.

Explanation: Due to road accidents many Governments around the world has adopted and put in place certain rules and regulations with regards to road safety, this is so to prevent the or reduce the chances of accidents happening.

Road safety rules are rules and guidelines put in place by Government in order to prevent road accidents and maintain a free flow of traffic. An example of such rules is 'be alert for pedestrians near the bus ' when approaching a local bus that is stopped.

Which meteorites are the most useful for defining the age of the solar system? Why?
scoundrel [369]

Answer:

meteorite is a piece of interplanetary debris that lives its fiery drops during a through the earth's atmosphere and strikes the surface of the earth.

Explanation:

the meteorites which are most useful for the determination of the age of the solar system are the primitive meteorites. they consist light of colored or grey silicates mixed with metallic grains. the parent bodies of these meteorites are also mostly believed to be pieces asteriods left after they formed in the solar system.

A 22 µF capacitor charged to 0.7 kV and a second 115 µF capacitor charged to 5.5 kV are connected to each other, with the positi
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

0.099C

Explanation:

First, we need to get the common potential voltage using the formula

V=\frac {C_2V_2-C_1V_1}{C_1+C_2}

Where V is the common voltage, C and V represent capacitance and charge respectively. Subscripts 1 and 2 to represent the the first and second respectively. Substituting the above with the following given values then

C_1=22\times 10^{-6} F\\ C_2=115\times 10^{-6} F\\ V_1= 0.7\times 10^{3}\\V_2=5.5\times 10^{3}

Therefore

V=\frac {115\times 10^{-6}\times 5.5\times 10^{3}-22\times 10^{6}\times 0.7\times 10^{3}}{22\times 10^{-6}+115\times 10^{-6}}=4504.3795620437

Charge, Q is given by CV hence for the first capacitor charge will be Q_1=C_1V

Here, Q_1=22\times 10^{-6}\times 4504.3795620437=0.0990963503649C\approx 0.099C

Boyles law<br> squeezing a balloon is one way to burst it. Why? ...?
KiRa [710]
According to Boyle's Law,  volume is inversely proportional to pressure. It means if the volume of a gas goes up the pressure goes down and if the volume of the gas goes up the pressure goes down. When the pressure of air inside the inflated balloon is more than the atmospheric pressure outside the balloon. And also when the density inside is greater than the density outside. The molecules inside the balloon move and bang around the inner walls which produces force, which provides the pressure of an enclosed air.

ExtremeBDS [4]

1. All the relevant resistors are in series, so the total (or equivalent) resistance is the sum of the resistances of the resistors: 20 Ω + 80 Ω + 50 Ω = 150 Ω [choice A].

2. The ammeter will read the current flowing through this circuit. We can find the ammeter reading using Ohm's law in terms of the electromotive force provided by the battery: I = ℰ/R = (30 V)(150 Ω) = 0.20 A [choice C].

3. The voltmeter will measure the potential drop across the 50 Ω resistor, i.e., the voltage at that resistor. We know from question 2 that the current flowing through the resistor is 0.20 A. So, from Ohm's law, V = IR = (0.20 A)(50 Ω) = 10. V, which will be the voltmeter reading [choice F].

4. Trick question? If the circuit becomes open, then no current will flow. Moreover, even if the voltmeter were kept as element of the circuit, voltmeters generally have a very high resistance (an ideal voltmeter has infinite resistance), so the current moving through the circuit will be negligible if not nil. In any case, the ammeter reading would be 0 A [choice B].
