Good morning.
The only reason I answered this is because this question was looking lonely. Like, /desperate lonely/. Anywho, let's work.

Proteins are biomolecules that have multiple jobs to do in an organism. Examples of their functions are below.

1. They are used to transport molecules.
2. They are used to place/store molecules.
3. They are needed for movement of the cell.

A crate of oranges is shoved across a grocery store floor with a force of 100 N for a distance of 1 meter. The crate travels an
navik [9.2K]

The statements that are true are;

  • the magnitude of work done by frictional forces on the crate is 100 J
  • the magnitude of work done by the applied force on the crate is 100 J
<h3>What is work done?</h3>

Work is said to be done when te force applied travels a distance in the direction of the force. Now we can see that when the force is applied by shoving the crate, work is done, an additional work is done by friction to bring the crate to a stop.

Hence, the following are true;

  • the magnitude of work done by frictional forces on the crate is 100 J
  • the magnitude of work done by the applied force on the crate is 100 J

What is the magnitude of the electric field in a region where the potential is given by the expression V = ax2 + b where a = −50
sweet [91]

Answer:

E = 1000 x

Explanation:

The electric potential and the electric field are related by the formula

        dV = - E . dx

Bold represents vectors.

The point represents the scalar product, in this case we calculate the electric field in the x-axis and the potential is also in this axis so the scalar product is reduced to the algebraic product

        E = dV /dx

Let's make the derivative

        E = - 2ax

Let's replace the values

        E = -2 (-500) x

        E = 1000 x

A car slows down uniformly from a speed of 22 m/s to rest in 4.0 seconds. How far did it travel in that time
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

\boxed{\sf Distance \ travelled = 44 \ m}

Given:

Initial speed (u) = 22 m/s

Final speed (v) = 0 m/s (Rest)

Time taken (t) = 4 seconds

To Find:

Distance travelled by car (s)

Explanation:

From equation of motion of object moving with uniform acceleration in straight line we have:

\boxed{ \bold{s =  (\frac{v + u}{2} )t}}

By substituting value of v, u & t in the equation we get:

\sf \implies s = ( \frac{0 + 22}{2} ) \times 4 \\  \\  \sf \implies s =  \frac{22}{2}  \times 4 \\  \\  \sf \implies s = 11 \times 4 \\  \\  \sf \implies s = 44 \: m

\therefore

Distance travelled by car (s) = 44 m
