Answer:

all of them

Explanation:

The workers are prone to all the options above .

Since the environment is confined and has restricted means for exit and entry , the worker are prone to suffer oxygen deficiency. Oxygen in the atmosphere is about 21 % but the confined nature of the area will limit the movement of oxygen gas which is essential for humans.

Hydrogen sulfide(H2S) gas are usually dominant in a poorly ventilated area. The confined nature of the zone, including the pipelines can harbor this gas. The gas is colorless, has a rotten egg smell and very dangerous to human health.

The workers are also prone to welding fumes because the poorly ventilated nature of the environment will limit the movement of this fumes.

Carbon monoxide are mostly form when their is limited oxygen. since the area is confined ,carbon will react with the limited oxygen to form carbon mono oxide (CO).

Claustrophobia is the fear of confined spaces. since the area is confined and has limited entry and exit point workers are bound to suffer claustrophobia.

The ionization constant (Ka) of HF is 6.7 X 10 ^-4. Which of the following is true in a 0.1 M solution of this acid?
spin [16.1K]
The ionization equation is:

HF ⇄ H(+) + F(-)

The ionization constant is Ka = [H(+)] * [H(-)] / [HF]

=> [H(+)] * [F(-)] = Ka * [HF]

Given that Ka < 1

[H(+)] * [F(-)] < [HF]

Which is [HF] > [H(+)] * [F(-)] the option a. fo the list of choices.

A reaction produces 0.883 moles of H₂O. How many molecules are produced?
prisoha [69]
The answer is 5.32 × 10²³ molecules

Avogadro's number is the number of units (atoms, molecules) in 1 mole of substance:
6.023 × 10²³ units per 1 mole

We have 0.883 moles.
If 1 mole has 6.023 × 10²³ molecules, 0.883 moles will have x molecules:
1 mole : 6.023 × 10²³ molecules = 0.883 moles : x

x = 6.023 × 10²³ molecules * 0.883 moles : 1 mole = 5.32 × 10²³ molecules
