Based on the units given for displacement and time, what will the units for velocity be?

Chemistry

m/sec is the unit of velocity.

Explanation:

The displacement is a vector quantity. It is a measure difference between the end and start point of a moving object.

The displacement of an object is measured in metres, kilometers, centimeter or inches. But the SI unit of displacement is always converted to metres.

The time may be in minutes, hours or second, but the SI unit of time is sec

velocity with respect to displacement is defined as rate at which displacement changes with time.

from the formula :

velocity=diplscement/time

             = m/sec

So the SI unit of velocity is m sec

The moons appearance from the earth changes throughout its orbital path because the amount of .... varies ?
Mkey [24]
The amount of reflected sunlight varies. There really isn't any such thing as moonlight. The light we perceive to be produced by the moon is really just sunlight! As the moon moves around the planet, we can see differing amounts of reflected light that we categorize as phases.

Balance the equation αC6H14(g)+βO2(g)→γCO2(g)+δH2O(g)
fenix001 [56]
Answer: The balanced reaction is:
<span>2 C6H14(g)+ 19 O2(g) → 12 <span>CO2</span>(g)+ 14 H2O(g)

Note: While balancing the chemical reaction, care must be taken that total number atoms (of each type) on both reactant and product side must be same. In present case, there are 12 'C' atoms, 28 'H' atoms and 38 'O' atoms on both reactant and product side. Hence, the reaction is balanced. </span>

8. The time period of artificial satellite in a circular orbit of radius R is T. The radius of the orbit in which time period is
Elena-2011 [213]

Explanation:

It is given that,

The time period of artificial satellite in a circular orbit of radius R is T. The relation between the time period and the radius is given by :

T^2\propto R^3

The radius of the orbit in which time period is 8T is R'. So, the relation is given by :

(\dfrac{T}{T'})^2=(\dfrac{R}{R'})^3

(\dfrac{T}{8T})^2=(\dfrac{R}{R'})^3

\dfrac{1}{64}=(\dfrac{R}{R'})^3

R'=4\times R

So, the radius of the orbit in which time period is 8T is 4R. Hence, this is the required solution.
