Answer:

R = 150 ohms.

Explanation:

According to Ohm's law,

V = IR

V = voltage across the walkman = 1.5 V (we assume that the battery has no internal resistance)

I = current used by the walkman = 0.01 A

R = resistance of the circuit = ?

1.5 = 0.01 × R

R = (1.5/0.01)

R = 150 ohms

Hope this Helps!!!

A sport car moving at constant speed travels 110m in 5.0 s. if it then brakes and comes to a stop in 4.0 s, what is the magnitud
stiks02 [169]
D = 110 m,  t = 5 s
v o = 110 cs : 5 m = 22 m/s
-------------------------------------
v = v o - a t
v = 0 m/s,  v o =  22 m/s,  t = 4 s
0 = 22 - 4 a
4 a = 22
a = 22 : 4
a = 5.5 m/s²
g = 9.80 m/s²
9.80 : 5.5 = 0.56
Answer:
The magnitude of its acceleration is 5.5 m/s or 0.56 g.

a group of students working in a high school chemistry lab believe they have discovered a new element! how exciting! upon furthe
maw [93]

Explanation:

From the experiment:

      Number of protons  = 74

      Number of neutrons  = 110

Number of protons in an element is the atomic number of the element. It is used to locate and position and element on the periodic table.

For a neutral or uncharged atom, the number of protons is the same as the number of electrons.

The element whose number of protons or atomic number if 74 is Tungsten

  Mass number  = 74 + 110  = 184g/mol

An object is moving in a circle. If the radius of the object is doubled, and the period remains constant, the magnitude of the v
Anton [14]

Answer:

Twice

Explanation:

From the formula for velocity in a circle

V= 2πr/T

Where V is velocity

r is raduis

T is period

We see that as r increases V increases so if r is doubled V becomes doubled

A car has uniformly accelerated from rest to a speed of 25m/s after traveling 75m. What is its acceleration in m/s^2
Roman55 [17]

So there is two truths given. After an amount of time Ttotal (lets call it ‘t’):

The car’s speed is 25m/s

The distance travelled is 75m

Then we have the formulas for speed and distance:

v = a x t -> 25 = a x t

s = 0.5 x a x t^2 -> 75 = 0.5 x a x t^2

Now, we know that both acceleration and time equal for both truths. So we can say:

t = 25 / a

t^2 = 75 / (0.5 x a) = 150 / a

Since we don’t want to use square root at 2) we go squared for 1):

t^2 = (25 / a) ^2 = 625 / a^2

t^2 = 150 / a

Since t has the same value for both truths we can say:

625 / a^2 = 150 / a

Thus multiply both sides with a^2:

625 = 150 x a, so a = 625 / 150 = 4.17

We can now calculate t as well t = 25 * 150 / 625 = 6
