Hello. You forgot to put the image that shows information needed to answer that question. The image is attached below:

Answer:

The cuboid and the cube exert the same pressure on the floor.

Explanation:

To answer this question, we must first consider that the area of the cuboid is equal to 24cm^2, while the area of the cube is equal to 16cm^2.

With that, we must calculate the pressure that each exerts, with the formula:

P = F / A

Cuboid: P = 60 / 0.0024 = 25000 N/m^2

Cube: P = 40 / 0.0016 = 25000 N/m^2

Answer:

Check Explanation

Explanation:

Pressure applied on a surface is defined as the force applied divided by the perpendicular cross sectional Area to the applied force

Pressure exerted by the cuboid = (weight of the cuboid)/(surface Area of the base of the cuboid touching the ground)

Weight of the cuboid = 60 N

surface Area of the base of the cuboid touching the ground = A(cuboid)

P(cuboid) = [60/A(cuboid)]

Pressure exerted by the cube = (weight of the cube)/(surface Area of the base of the cube touching the ground)

Weight of the cube = 40 N

surface Area of the base of the cube touching the ground = A(cube)

P(cube) = [40 ÷ A(cube)]

So, the diagram for the two structures, a cube and a cuboid is still missing from the internet, without this diagram and the surface area of their bases, we cannot truly tell which structure is undergoing which pressure. So, what I've done will make it very much simpler if all the diagrams are beyond.

P(cuboid) = [60/A(cuboid)]

P(cube) = [40/A(cube)]

Plugging in the surface areas, esp when their surface areas would be known wicked.

That way, the pressure appears so, you will go!!!

Hope this Helps!!!

How do you get a tachyionic particle and how are they faster than light
melomori [17]
<span>Tachyons are studied in an area called particle physics, and I must say this is a bit out of my league, but I'll give you some general thoughts. Tachyons are hypothetical particles resulting from what physicists call a thought experiment. Back in the 1960s, some physicists wondered what would happen if matter could travel faster than the speed of light, something that is supposed to be impossible according to the Theory of Relativity. So these particles may or may not exist because they have not been proven or disproven by real experiment as of yet. What people have done is apply existing formulas to the unique properties of tachyons (like imaginary mass!). What comes out is a particles that go faster when they lose energy with a MINIMUM velocity of the speed of light and a maximum velocity of infinity! Hope that helps Ben, theoretical physics is a weird place and is not too far off from philosophy.</span>

A car starts from rest and travels for 5.8 s with a uniform acceleration of 1.6 m/s² in the negative direction. What is the fina
elena-s [515]

Answer:

Final velocity of the car will be -9.28 m/sec

Explanation:

We have given that the car starts from the rest so initial velocity of the car u = 0 m /sec

Acceleration of the car a=1.6m/sec^2 in negative direction so acceleration will be a=-1.6m/sec^2

From first equation of motion we know that

v = u+at

So v=0+(-1.6)\times 5.8=-9.28m/sec

So final velocity will be -9.28 m/sec

An electric current of 200 A is passed through a stainless steel wire having a radius R of 0.001268 m. The wire is L = 0.91 m lo
denis23 [38]

Answer:

The value is   T_m  =  435.2 \  K

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The  current is  I  =  200 \ A

   The radius is  R =  0.001268 \  m

   The  length of the wire is  L  =  0.91 \  m\

    The  resistance is  R  =  0.126 \  \Omega

    The  outer surface temperature is  T _o  =  422.1 \  K

    The average thermal conductivity is  \sigma  =  22.5 W/mK

Generally the heat generated in the stainless steel wire is mathematically represented as

    Q =  \frac{Power}{ \pi r^2L}

     Q =  \frac{I^2 R}{ \pi r^2L}

=>   Q =  \frac{200^2 * 0.126}{3.142 *  (0.001268)^2 * 0.91}

=>   Q =  1.096*10^{9}\  W/m^3

Generally the middle temperature is mathematically represented as

      T_m  =  T_o  + \frac{Q * r^2 }{ 6  * \sigma }

       T_m  =  422.1  +  \frac{1.096*10^{-9} * 0.001268^2}{6 * 22.5}

       T_m  =  435.2 \  K
