When somebody hands you a Celsius°, it's easy to find the equivalent Fahrenheit°.

Fahrenheit° = (1.8 · Celsius°) + 32° .

So 100°C works out to 212°F.

It's also easy to find the equivalent Kelvin.  Just add 273.15 to the Celsius.

So now you can see that  100°C  is equal to  A  and  D,
and it's less than  B .

The only one it's greater than is  C .

Two spacecraft are both 10 million kilometers from a star. The total power output of the star is 4 x 1025 W. Spacecraft 1 has a
Ksenya-84 [330]

The concept of power is given by the relationship between intensity and area, that is to say that power is defined as

P = A*I

Our values are given under the condition of,

r_1 = 18m

r_2 = m

The power is proportional to the Area, and in turn, we know that the Area of a circle is the product between \pi  times the radius squared, therefore the power is proportional to the radius squared.

\text{Power} \propto r^2

For both panels we would have to

\frac{\text{Power by panel 1}}{\text{Power by panel 2}} = \frac{r_1^2}{r_2^2}

\frac{P_1}{P_2} = (\frac{18}{6})^2

\frac{P_1}{P_2} = 9

Therefore the correct option is option C.9

Explanation:

( (2.9 × 9.8) ÷ cos(35.6°) ) × sin (35.6°) =

( (28.42) ÷ (≈0.813) ) × (≈0.582) =

(≈34.96) × (≈0.582) = 20.3449446.... ≈ 20.35

A 77.0−kg short-track ice skater is racing at a speed of 12.6 m/s when he falls down and slides across the ice into a padded wal
sukhopar [10]

Answer:

-6112.26  J

Explanation:

The initial kinetic energy, KE_i is given by

KE_i=0.5mv_1^{2} where m is the mass of a body and v_i is the initial velocity

The final kinetic energy, KE_f is given by

KE_f=0.5mv_f^{2} where v_f is the final velocity

Change in kinetic energy, \triangle KE is given by

\triangle KE=KE_f-KE_i=0.5mv_f^{2}-0.5mv_1^{2}=0.5m(v_f^{2}-v_i^{2})

Since the skater finally comes to rest, the final velocity is zero. Substituting 0 for v_f and 12.6 m/s for v_i and 77 Kg for m we obtain

\triangle KE=0.5*77*0^{2}-0.5*77*(0^{2}-12.6^{2})=-6112.26 J

From work energy theorem, work done by a force is equal to the change in kinetic energy hence for this case work done equals <u>-6112.26  J</u>
