It's simple.
We know force is the rate of change in momentum.
So F=(mv-mu)/t or F=m(v-u)/t
=1200*(25-10)/5=3600N

Name the missing force... Normal <br>   Spring <br>   Tension <br>   Air Resistance
Kay [80]

the missing force is spring force.

The object is hanging from the spring and the spring is stretched by some distance from its equilibrium position.  due to this stretch in the spring , a spring force starts acting on the object trying to regain its equilibrium position.

the spring force is given as

F = kx

where F = spring force ,k = spring constant , x = stretch in the spring.

the spring force balances the weight of the object in down direction and hence keeps the block from falling down.

Blue to gray in color and reaching up to 10 feet (3.05 meters) in length and 220 pounds (99.8 kilograms) in weight, the sailfish
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

the distance traveled by the fish is 3648 m

Explanation:

In general, animals have a small period of acceleration, which we will despise after which they travel at a constant speed so we can use the kinematic equations in uniform motion

We reduce the units to System SI

      t = 2 min (60s / 1 min) = 120 s

Calculate

       V = x / t

       x= V t

       x = 30.4 120

       x = 3648 m

This is the distance traveled by the fish

In a discussion person A is talking 1.2 dB louder than person B, and person C is talking 3.2 dB louder than person A. What is th
liberstina [14]

Answer: 3.84dB

Explanation:

Since person A is talking 1.2dB louder than B, we will have

A = 1.2B... (1)

Similarly, person C is talking 3.2 dB louder than person A, we have

C = 3.2A... (2)

From equation 1, B = A/1.2... (3)

To get the ratio of the sound intensity of person C to the sound intensity of person B, we will divide equation 2 by 3 to give

C/B = 3.2A/{A/1.2}

C/B = 3.2A×1.2/A

C/B = 3.2×1.2

C/B = 3.84dB

A sample of an unknown substance has a mass of 0.465 kg. if 3,000.0 j of heat is required to heat the substance from 50.0°c to 1
hammer [34]

The specific heat of the substance will be 0.129 J/g°C.

<h3>What is specific heat capacity?</h3>

The amount of heat required to increase a substance's temperature by one degree Celsius is known as specific heat capacity.

Similarly, heat capacity is the relationship between the amount of energy delivered to a substance and the increase in temperature that results.

The given data in the problem is;

Q is the amount of energy necessary to raise the temperature = 3,000.0 j

M is the mass=  0.465 kg.

Δt is the time it takes to raise the temperature.=50°c

s stands for specific heat capacity=?

Mathematically specific heat capacity is given by;

\rm Q= MC \triangle t \\\\ C = \frac{Q}{M\triangle t} \\\\ C = \frac{3000}{0.465 \triangle 50} \\\\ C =129.0 J/Kg^0C \\\\ C= 0.129 J/g^0C

Hence the specific heat of the substance will be 0.129 J/g°C.
