<u>Solu</u><u>tion</u><u> </u><u>:</u><u>-</u>

First of all for comparing any two quantities , they must be in same units .

Here one unit is in grams and other in milligrams .

So let's convert gram to miligram .

We know that 1 gram = 1000 mg.

So , 0.7g = 0.7 × 1000 mg = 700mg .

Clearly 711mg > 700mg .

Hence 711mg is Greater than 0.7 g .

Answer:

less than because 0.7 g is 1000 times than the decimal which 7111 mg is greater sorry if my explanation sucks but I know it's less

La masa de una olla es de 300g y contiene 90% de aluminio. Hallar el número de moles de aluminio de la olla. P.A.(Al= 27)
Neko [114]

Explanation:

The mass of a pot is 300g and contains 90% aluminum. Find the number of moles of aluminum in the pot. P.A. (Al = 27)

The mass of aluminum present in the pot is:

300 g * 90/100\\=270 g

Hence, in the given pot 270g Al is present.

Number of moles of Al=\frac{given mass ofAl}{its molar mass}

The gram atomic mass of Al -27 g/mol

Given the mass of Al is 270 g

Substitute these values in the above formula:

Number of moles of Al=\frac{given mass ofAl}{its molar mass}\\=\frac{270 g}{27 g} \\=10.0 mol

Answer is 10.0 mol of Al is present.

How many grams of lead(II) iodide are produced from 6.000 moles of NaI according to the balanced equation: Pb(NO3)2 + 2 NaI à 2
marta [7]

Answer:

mass PbI₂ formed = 1383 grams

Explanation:

Pb(NO₃)₂ + 2NaI => 2NaNO₃ + PbI₂(s)

6 mol NaI =>  1/2(6 mol) PbI₂ = 3 mol PbI₂ x 461.01 g/mol = 1383.03 grams ≅ 1383 grams (4 sig. figs.)

Consider a cobalt-silver voltaic cell that is constructed such that one half-cell consists of the cobalt, Co, electrode immersed
umka21 [38]

Answer:

Anode half reaction;

Co(s) ----> Co^2+(aq) + 2e

Cathode half reaction;

2Ag^+(aq) + 2e-------> 2Ag(s)

Explanation:

A voltaic cell is an electrochemical cell that spontaneously produces electrical energy from chemical reactions. A voltaic cell comprises of an anode (where oxidation occurs) and a cathode (where reduction occurs). The both electrodes are connected with a wire . A salt bridge ensures charge neutrality in the anode and cathode compartments. Electrons flow from anode to cathode.

For the cell referred to in the question;

Anode half reaction;

Co(s) ----> Co^2+(aq) + 2e

Cathode half reaction;

2Ag^+(aq) + 2e-------> 2Ag(s)
