Here, 4 moles of Lithium reacts with 1 mole of Oxygen

hence , 1 mole of lithium reacts with 1/4 moles of Oxygen

and, 8 moles with react with 1/4 * 8 = 2 moles

in short, the answer is 2 moles

Ann and Carol each lift the timber with a force of 80 kg/m/s2. If they lift the timber a distance of 1.25 meters, how much work
Novosadov [1.4K]
Work is defined energy transferred from one to another.
The formula for work done is work done = force x distance

So in our problem, force is equal to 80 kg/ m / s^2 and distance is equal to 1.25 meters. So plugging in our values will give us:

work done = 80 kg/ m/ s^2 * 1.25 m
= 100.00 J is the answer.

PLEASE HELP!!!!
shtirl [24]
1) d

2) b because the independent variable is the thing you change/control in an experiment

3) c because the dependent variable is the thing being measured in an experiment

4)hmm it might be d, as c and a are both correct as different sized feeders would make it an unfair test and different types of food would as well

5) c

6) a

7) b obviously because if he activated them at different times then the ones activated last would have an advantage

Identify the double displacement reaction. 3Pb 2h 3PO 4 ⟶ 3H 2 Pb 3(PO 4) 2 2NO 2 ⟶ 2O 2 N 2 2NaBr Ca(OH) 2 ⟶ CaBr 2 2NaOH 2NH 3
IRISSAK [1]

Reaction 3 is the double displacement reaction.

Double displacement reaction occurs when the negatively and the positively charged ions of the compounds interchange their position when the new compound in the product is formed.

Which is a double displacement reaction?

In the first reaction, the element lead (Pb) is not an ion and no exchange of the cations or the anions occurs hence it is not a double displacement reaction.

In the second reaction, one compound is getting split into two new compounds and is a decomposition reaction.

In the third reaction, \rm Br^{-} in \rm 2NaBr and \rm (OH)_{2} in \rm Ca(OH)_{2} are anions and cations and exchanges their places to produce two new compounds \rm CaBr_{2} + 2NaOH.

In the fourth reaction, a single compound is generated as the result of the combination reaction and hence, it is not the double displacement reaction.

Therefore, \rm 2NaBr + Ca(OH)_{2} \rightarrow CaBr_{2} + 2NaOH is the double displacement reaction.
