From 1st EQ. of uniform motion
1)20.9-3.44/6=t=2.91 sec

2)28= 0+4.22a
a=6.66m/sec^2

Answer: a) 2.91s b) 6.64m/s² c) Instant acceleration

Explanation:

a) Acceleration is defined as the change in velocity of an object with respect to time. Mathematically,

Acceleration = change in velocity/time

Change in velocity = final velocity-initial velocity

Acceleration (a) = final velocity (v)/-initial velocity(u)/time(t)

Given final velocity = 20.9m/s

Initial velocity = 3.44m/s

Acceleration = 6m/s²

Time =?

Substituting in the formula we have;

6 = 20.9-3.44/t

6t = 17.46

t = 17.46/6

t = 2.91seconds

b) using the same formula for acceleration in a above;

a = v-u/t

Given v = 28m/s u = 0m/s(since it starts from rest) t = 4.22seconds

a = 28-0/4.22

a = 6.64m/s²

c) The change in velocity that occurs at a specific moment in time is known as Instant acceleration.

We know that acceleration is change in velocity with respect to time. If the acceleration now happens at a specific moment, it is known as instant acceleration i.e acceleration of the body at that instance

g A loop circuit has a resistance of R1 and a current of 2 A. The current is reduced to 1.4 A when an additional 2.2 Ω resistor
Mrrafil [7]

Answer:

R1 = 5.13 Ω

Explanation:

From Ohm's law,

V = IR............... Equation 1

Where V = Voltage, I = current, R = resistance.

From the question,

I = 2 A, R = R1

Substitute into equation 1

V = 2R1................ Equation 2

When a resistance of 2.2Ω is added in series with R1,

assuming the voltage source remain constant

R = 2.2+R1,  and I = 1.4 A

V = 1.4(2.2+R1)................. Equation 3

Substitute the value of V into equation 3

2R1 = 1.4(2.2+R1)

2R1 = 3.08+1.4R1

2R1-1.4R1 = 3.08

0.6R1 = 3.08

R1 = 3.08/0.6

R1 = 5.13 Ω

1. How do energy and matter recycle in a closed-loop system?
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

In a closed-loop system, matter is used to generate energy, and the energy generated is used to produce matter, and the cycle goes on without end.

Explanation:

A closed-loop system is one in which materials or energy is recycled without end through a production cycle. This means that a raw material is used to produce a finished product, and the finished product at the end of its use cycle is converted back and used as a raw material to produce more of it again. Energy and matter can also be cycled in the same way in an energy and matter closed-loop system, converting matter to energy, and the energy is put back into the production of more of the matter.

A fleeing student covered a distance of 210 meters in 35 seconds. what is the student's speed in meters/second? what is the stud
snow_lady [41]

Explanation:

Given that,

A student covered a distance of 210 meters in 35 seconds.

We need to find the student's speed in meters/second and also in meters/minute.

Speed, v = distance (d)/time (t)

So,

v=\dfrac{210\ m}{35\ s}\\\\=6\ m/s

We know that, 1 minute = 60 seconds

6\dfrac{m}{s}=6\times \dfrac{m}{(\dfrac{1}{60})\ \text{minutes}}\\\\=360\ \text{meters/minutes}

Hence, the student's speed is 6 m/s or 360 meters/minute.
