A wire of length 17.6 cm carrying a current of 5.95 mA is to be formed into a circular coil and placed in a uniform magnetic fie

ld of magnitude 4.74 mT. The torque on the coil from the field is maximized. (a) What is the angle between and the coil's magnetic dipole moment? (b) What is the number of turns in the coil? (c) What is the magnitude of that maximum torque?

Answer:

Explanation:

(a) the angle between the coil and the coil's magnetic dipole moment is same that means zero degree.

(b) L = 17.6 cm = 0.176 m

i = 5.95 mA = 5.95 x 106-3 A

B = 4.74 mT = 4.74 x 10^-3 T

(b) Let r be the radius of the loop is r

Circumference = 2 x 3.14 x r

0.176 = 2 x 3.14 x r

r = 0.028 m

B = μo/4π x (N x 2 π i) / r

Where, N be the number of turns

4.74 x 10^-3 = (10^-7 x N x 2 x 3.14 x 5.95 x 10^-3) / 0.028

N = 3.55 x 10^4

(c) Maximum torque = N i A B

τ = 3.55 x 10^4 x 5.95 x 10^-3 x 3.14 x 0.028 x 0.028 x 4.74 x 10^-3

τ = 2.465 x 10^-3 Nm

Assume your mass is 84 kg. The acceleration due to gravity is 9.8 m/s 2 . How much work against gravity do you do when you climb
KATRIN_1 [288]
M, mass=84 kg
height, h=3.9m
gravity, g= 9.8m/s2
W = F . d
F=force
d=Displacement
W=work done by force
Now by putting the values
F= m g (Acting downward )
d= h (Upward)
W= m g h ( work done against the force)
W= 84•9.8•3.9J
W= 3210.48
Therefore the answer will be 3210.48J.

Select all of the answers that apply. Jenna dives 20meters into the ocean. How much pressure does she feel?
Triss [41]
Use the formula dgh + p atm

d is density g is gravitational field strength h heigh or depth and p atm is atmospheric pressure

1000 x 10 x 20 + 100000 = 300000

How does an atom of potassium-41 become a potassium ion with a +1 charge? 19 K 39.10
stiv31 [10]

It is very difficult for an atom to accept a proton. It can only be done under very special circumstances. So A and C are both incorrect. I don't see how D is possible. The atom does lose 1 electron, but how it gets 21 is think air.

The answer is B which is exactly what happens.

Based on the information in the table, which two elements are most likely in the same group, and why?
velikii [3]

Answer: bismuth and nitrogen, because they have the same number of valence electrons

Explanation:

Elements are distributed in groups and periods in a periodic table.

Elements that belong to same groups will show similar chemical properties because they have same number of valence electrons.

The number of valence electrons in Bismuth and nitrogen are 5 and thus thus they will show similar chemical properties and thus belong to the same group.

The atomic masses of elements in a group will differ drastically.

The group number has got nothing to be the isolation year.

Thus bismuth and nitrogen belong to same group because they have the same number of valence electrons
