The density of silver is 10.5 g cm3. a piece of silver with a mass of 61.3 g would ovvupy a volume of ?
natali 33 [55]
The relationship between mass m, volume V and density d is:
d= \frac{m}{V}
The silver has density d=10.5 g/cm^3, and the mass of the piece of silver is m=61.3 g. Therefore we can calculate its volume using the previous formula:
V= \frac{m}{d}= \frac{61.3 g}{10.5 g/cm^3}=5.84 cm^3

A 120 W lightbulb and a 90 W lightbulb each operate at a voltage of 120 V. Part A Which bulb carries more current? Which bulb ca
uysha [10]

Answer:

120 W lightbulb

Explanation:

Let the two lightbulb be A and B respectively.

Given the following data;

Power A = 120W

Power B = 90W

Voltage = 120V

To find the current flowing through each lightbulb;

a. For lightbulb A

Power = current * voltage

120 = current * 120

Current = 120/120

Current = 1 Ampere.

b. For lightbulb B

Current = power/voltage

Current = 90/120

Current = 0.75 Amperes

Therefore, the lightbulb that carries more current is A with 1 Ampere.

The following is regarding Momentum Change and Force. help is needed please!
mixer [17]

The distance travelled  is 10 m and the velocity gained at the end of this time is 2 m/s.

<h3>Velocity of the object at the end of the time</h3>

F = mv/t

where;

  • m is mass of the object
  • v is velocity of the object
  • t is time

Ft = mv

v = Ft/m

v = (50 x 10)/250

v = 2 m/s

<h3>Distance traveled by the object</h3>

v² = u² + 2as

where;

u is initial velocity = 0

a is acceleration

a = F/m

a = 50 N/ 250 kg

a = 0.2 m/s²

v² = 0 + 2as

s = v²/2a

s = (2²)/(2 x 0.2)

s = 10 m

Thus, the distance travelled  is 10 m and the velocity gained at the end of this time is 2 m/s.
