Answer:

The solution is Unsaturated

Explanation:

Nature of solution (saturated , unsaturated or supersaturated) depends on solubility of that salt in water. Because solubility of KCl in water is about 360.5g / 100g of water at 100 degree celcius. So, some amount of KCl will remain undissolved in water.Hence, it is an unsaturated solution.

We are given 50g of KCl per 100g water at 100 degrees celcius,

now mass of KCl = mass of K + mass of Cl = 39+35.5 = 74.5g

So, Molar mass of KCl = \frac{50}{74.5} = 0.6711 moles

And Molar mass of 100g water = \frac{100}{18} = 5.55moles

Now, to find property of solution we divide the molar masses,

\frac{0.67}{5.55} = 12.07% this is the quantity of solute in water which makes the solution an unsaturated solution.

SIZIF [17.4K]
I think the answer is reversible. Reversible reaction is a kind of reaction which can react in both direction at the same time. And when the both side reactions get the same speed, the reaction is at a equilibrium state.

Why do we use a double arrow in the dissociation equation for a weak acid answer?
Zepler [3.9K]
Answer is: because weak acids do not dissociate completely.

The strength of an Arrhenius acid determines percentage of ionization of acid and the number of H⁺ ions formed.
Strong acids completely ionize in water and give large amount ofhydrogen ions (H⁺), so we use only one arrow, because reaction goes in one direction and there no molecules of acid in solution.

For example hydrochloric acid: HCl(aq) → H⁺(aq) + Cl⁻(aq).

Weak acid partially ionize in water and give only a few hydrogen ions (H⁺), in the solution there molecules of acid and ions.

For example cyanide acid: HCN(aq) ⇄ H⁺(aq) + CN⁻(aq).

The number of nucleons in an atom is the atom's (atomic, mass) number.
ELEN [110]
The number of neutrons in an atom is the number of particles present in its nucleus.
The atomic number is the number of protons whereas the mass number is the number of protons and number of neutrons together
This implies that the number of neutrons is the atom's mass number
