For this item, we will have a double-replacement reaction. This means that the compounds will exchange elements. The balanced chemical reaction is shown below.
                   NaCH3COO + HCl --> NaCl + CH3COOH
So, what are formed in the reaction is the salt NaCl and the carboxylic acid, acetic acid. Hence, the precipitate formed is the salt NaCl.

No precipitate is formed by reaction of {\textbf{NaCH}\mathbf{_3}\textbf{COO}} and HCl.

Further Explanation:

Precipitation reactions:

Such reactions involve formation of insoluble salt when solutions of soluble salts combine with each other. This insoluble salt is termed as precipitate. Due to formation of precipitates, these reactions are known as precipitation reactions. These reactions are essential tool in determination of different ions existing in particular solutions.

\text{NaCH}_3\text{COO} is sodium salt of acetic acid and is therefore weak acid. But, on the other hand, HCl is a strong acid and is capable to displace sodium from sodium acetate salt. As a result, acetic acid and sodium chloride are formed.

Reaction between \text{NaCH}_3\text{COO} and HCl occurs as follows:

\text{NaCH}_3\text{COO}+\text{HCl}\rightarrow\text{CH}_3\text{COOH}+\text{NaCl}

In this reaction, one mole of \text{NaCH}_3\text{COO} reacts with one mole of HCl and one mole of \text{CH}_3\text{COOH} and one mole of NaCl are produced. Both products are soluble in water. Since both of the products of this reaction are water soluble, no precipitate can be formed by reaction of \text{NaCH}_3\text{COO} and HCl.

liubo4ka [24]

Answer:

<h2>0.102 L</h2>

Explanation:

The new pressure can be found by using the formula for Boyle's law which is

P_1V_1 = P_2V_2

Since we are finding the new volume

V_2 =  \frac{P_1V_1}{P_2}  \\

From the question we have

V_2 =  \frac{207000 \times 0.05}{101000}  =  \frac{10350}{101000}  \\  = 0.102475...

We have the final answer as

<h3>0.102 L</h3>

Hope this helps you

Calculate average kinetic energy of one mole of gas at 517K
Gekata [30.6K]

In an ideal gas, there are no attractive forces between the gas molecules, and there is no rotation or vibration within the molecules. The kinetic energy of the translational motion of an ideal gas depends on its temperature. The formula for the kinetic energy of a gas defines the average kinetic energy per molecule. The kinetic energy is measured in Joules (J), and the temperature is measured in Kelvin (K).

K = average kinetic energy per molecule of gas (J)

kB = Boltzmann's constant ()

T = temperature (k)

Kinetic Energy of Gas Formula Questions:

1) Standard Temperature is defined to be . What is the average translational kinetic energy of a single molecule of an ideal gas at Standard Temperature?

Answer: The average translational kinetic energy of a molecule of an ideal gas can be found using the formula:

The average translational kinetic energy of a single molecule of an ideal gas is  (Joules).

2) One mole (mol) of any substance consists of  molecules (Avogadro's number). What is the translational kinetic energy of  of an ideal gas at ?

Answer: The translational kinetic energy of  of an ideal gas can be found by multiplying the formula for the average translational kinetic energy by the number of molecules in the sample. The number of molecules is  times Avogadro's number:
