Answer:Compact bone, also called cortical bone, dense bone in which the bony matrix is solidly filled with organic ground substance and inorganic salts, leaving only tiny spaces (lacunae) that contain the osteocytes, or bone cells. Compact bone makes up 80 percent of the human skeleton; the remainder is cancellous bone, which has a spongelike appearance with numerous large spaces and is found in the marrow space (medullary cavity) of a bone. Both types are found in most bones. Compact bone forms a shell around cancellous bone and is the primary component of the long bones of the arm and leg and other bones, where its greater strength and rigidity are needed.

a 75.0 liter canister contains 15.82 moles of argon at a pressure of 546.8 kilopascals. What is the temperature of the canister?
abruzzese [7]

Pressure of argon = 546.8 kPa

Conversion factor: 1 atm = 101.325 kPa

Pressure of argon = 546.8 kPa x 1 atm/101.325 kPa = 5.4 atm

Moles of argon = 15.82

Volume of argon = 75.0 L

According to Ideal gas law,

PV = nRT

where P is the pressure, V is the volume , n is the number of moles, R is the universal gas constant, and T is the temperature

T = PV/nR = (5.4 atm x 75.0 L) / (15.82 x 0.0821 L.atm.mol⁻¹K⁻¹)

T = 311.82 K

Hence the temperature of the canister is 311.82 K.

Which color of light has the greatest energy
ozzi

Answer:

violet

Explanation:

Waves with a short wavelength have the most energy. Red waves have a relatively long wavelength (in the 700 nm range), and violet waves are much shorter - roughly half that. Because violet waves have the shortest wavelength of the visible light spectrum, they carry the most energy (google)
