The blades in a blender rotate at a rate of 7700 rpm. when the motor is turned off during operation, the blades slow to rest in
Tpy6a [65]

Angular acceleration = (change in angular speed) / (time for the change)

Change in angular speed = (speed at the end) - (speed at the beginning)

For this fan, speed at the end = 7700 rpm, speed at the end = 0 .

Change in angular speed = -7700 rpm

Angular acceleration = (-7700 rpm) / (2.5 sec)

Angular acceleration = -3,080 rev per minute / sec

That's a perfectly good and true answer to the question, but the units are ugly. We really need to fix the units, and convert them into something prettier before we hand in this assignment.

1 rev = 2π radians, and

1 minute = 60 seconds .

So

Angular acceleration =

(-3,080 rev/min-sec) · (2π rad/rev) · (1 min/60 sec)

AngAccel = (-3,080 · 2π · 1 / 60) · (rev·rad·min / min·sec·rev·sec)

AngAccel = ( -102 and 2/3 · π) · (rad/s²)

AngAccel = -322.5 radian/s²

Why do we tend to attribute others' negative behaviors to dispositions over situational factors?

An engineer wants to set up simple password protection with no usernames for some switches in a lab, for the purpose of keeping
Andre45 [30]

Answer:

A. A login vty mode subcommand

Explanation:

since we are protecting co-workers from connecting to the switches from their desktop PCs, we would need a Telnet line which is used to connect to devices remotely from other network devices on the same network segment as the device we want to connect to. A login local vty subcommand configures a local username for login access but since our design constraint is to configure without usernames, option A is the correct answer.

Danny lowers the sails on his boat. He paddles upstream at 19 km/hr. The current is still running downstream at 15 km/hr. What i
Molodets [167]

Answer:

4 km/hr

Explanation:

The computation of the actual velocity is shown below:

Because the path of its paddles is opposed to the current direction, the real velocity can be determined by deducting the current velocity to its velocity while paddling

So, the actual velocity is

= Upstream - downstream

= 19 km/hr - 15 km/hr

= 4 km/hr

As we can see it is in positive, so it is an upstream direction

The poles of the Earth's magnetic field line up with the geographic poles of the Earth.
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer: False

Explanation: A magnetic compass does not point to the geographic north pole. A magnetic compass points to the earth's magnetic poles, which are not the same as earth's geographic poles. Furthermore, the magnetic pole near earth's geographic north pole is actually the south magnetic pole.
