It is an open series circuit and this is why:

its obvious its a series circuit because all the symbols are in a straight rectangle.
its an open circuit because an open circuit has something that doesn't allow the electrons to flow all the way. and the thing blocking the electrons it the switch which is open, (off).

Hope this helped!! sorry its late!!

2L of hydrogen has an initial pressure of 750 mmHg, what is the final pressure in mmHg if the volume increases to 20 L with a co
Verdich [7]

Answer: The final pressure is 75 mm Hg.

Explanation:

According to Boyle's law, at constant temperature the pressure of a gas in inversely proportional to volume.

Since, it is given that the temperature is constant. Hence, formula used is as follows.

P_{1}V_{1} = P_{2}V_{2}

Substitute the values into above formula as follows.

P_{1}V_{1} = P_{2}V_{2}\\750 mm Hg \times 2 L = P_{2} \times 20 L\\P_{2} = \frac{750 mm Hg \times 2 L}{20 L}\\= 75 mm Hg

Thus, we can conclude that the final pressure is 75 mm Hg.

Predict the missing particle or nuclide.
Advocard [28]

Answer:

beta minus emission

Explanation:

Beta radiations:

Beta radiations are result from the beta decay in which electron is ejected. The neutron inside of the nucleus converted into the proton an thus emit the electron which is called β particle.

The mass of beta particle is smaller than the alpha particles.

They can travel in air in few meter distance.

These radiations can penetrate into the human skin.

The sheet of aluminum is used to block the beta radiation

²³⁹₉₃Np→ ²³⁹₉₄Pu + ⁰₋₁e

The beta radiations are emitted in this reaction. The one electron is ejected and neutron is converted into proton.
