Answer:

Explanation:

Folic acid is the form of folate found in vitamin supplements and fortified foods. Fortified foods, also called enriched foods, are foods that have specific nutrients added to them.

Neural tube defect happen when the tissues and bone around the brain and spine do not grow well. Neural tube can happen in the third and fourth week after conception (the first or second week after your first missed period). This could be before you know that you are pregnant.

Folic acid lowers the risk of your unborn baby having a neural tube defect . Neural tube are a group of serious birth defects that affect a baby’s spinal cord, brain and skull. Some babies with severe Neural tube defect birth are stillborn or do not survive long after birth. Spina Bifida is the most common Neural tube defect.

Suppose you are driving in a convertible with the top down at constant speed. You point a rifle straight upward and fire it. In
lyudmila [28]

Answer:

(c) in the barrel of the rifle

Explanation:

When we are moving in a convertible with constant speed so as per inertia all the objects are moving with same speed as that the speed of convertible.

So here we can say that bullet when shot from the rifle then its speed is same as that of convertible in horizontal direction

So here we can say that if air friction is absent then bullet will move same horizontal distance as the distance moved by you in the convertible

so after it it will reach again at the same position then the displacement of you and bullet is same in horizontal direction so we can say that correct answer will be

(c) in the barrel of the rifle

What kinds of space and matter can light travel through
dem82 [27]

Answer:

Light travels as a wave. But unlike sound waves or water waves, it does not need any matter or material to carry its energy along. This means that light can travel through a vacuum—a completely airless space. (Sound, on the other hand, must travel through a solid, a liquid, or a gas.)

You tie a cord to a pail of water and swing the pail in a vertical circle of radius 0.710 mm . What minumum speed must the pail
Blababa [14]

Answer:

The minumum speed the pail must have at its highest point if no water is to spill from it

= 2.64 m/s

Explanation:

Working with the forces acting on the water in the pail at any point.

The weight of water is always directed downwards.

The normal force exerted on the water by the pail is always directed towards the centre of the circle of the circular motion.

And the centripetal force, which keeps the system in its circular motion, is the net force as a result of those two previously mentioned force.

At the highest point of the motion, the top of the vertical circle, the weight and the normal force on the water are both directed downwards.

Net force = W + (normal force)

But the speed of this motion can be lowered enough to a point where the normal force becomes zero at the moment the pail reaches the highest point of its motion. Any speed lower than this value would result in the water spilling out of the pail. The water would not be able to resist the force of gravity.

At this point of minimum velocity,

Normal force = 0

Net force = W

Net force = centripetal force = (mv²/r)

W = mg

(mv²/r) = mg

r = 0.710 m

g = 9.8 m/s²

v² = gr = 9.8 × 0.71 = 6.958

v = √(6.958) = 2.64 m/s

Hope this Helps!!!
