Answer:

far away

Explanation:

There are different types of eye defect ranging from short sightedness, longsighted, astigmatism, presbyopia etc.

If someone is only able to see close ranged object clearly but not far distant object, then such person is suffering from short sightedness or myopia. This occurs when the light rays entering the eye does not converge on the retina. Instead of converging on the retina, the light ray is formed on a point in front of the retina. <em>This causes the distance from the eye's lens to the retina shorter compared to that of a normal eye. </em>This eye defect is usually corrected using concave lens in order to diverge the rays thereby allowing it to focus on the retina.

Hence, if the distance from your eye's lens to the retina is shorter than for a normal eye, you will struggle to see objects that are far away (at a far distant).

<span>Lack of training in getting the vital sign or worst, not knowing the right way to take the vital sign could contribute to an inaccurate vital sign reading. For example, if you are tasked to get the respiration of the patient, the rule is to count inhale and exhale as one. But if you were not able to know this rule, and you counted inhale as one and exhale as another, this could impair the vital reading. </span>

Answer:

gs = 0.6 m/s^2

Explanation:

Given data:

velocity = 12 m/s

height s = 12t -(1/2) g_s t^2

Given velocity is the derivatives of  height

v(t) = \frac{d}{dt} s(t)

      = \frac{d}{dt}(12t -\frac{1}{2} g_s t^2)

      = 12 - g_s t

when velocity tend to 0 , maximum height is reached

v(t) = 12 - g_s t

0 = 12 - g_s t

g_s = \frac{12}{t}

at t = 20 sec ball reached the max height, so

g_s = \frac{12}{20} = 0.6 m/s^2
