Microstructures reduce friction on the functional surface.                                                                

<u>Explanation</u>:

  • The functional surface on the microstructures reduces the friction. Below the functional surface, the layer surface will be there. It also reduces friction.
  • The microstructures on the functional surface act as an oil reservoir and it produces the oil.  For low structures, it generates a hydrodynamic lubrication film. It improves the speed of low sliding frictions.
  • Using the fluid power systems we can produce accurate microstructures. The fluid will help to produce accurate structures.
