You can look at those dots, for example, you see (2,8) and (2,2) then look at y and the difference is 6. so if you see it like that, (2,8) and (5,8) is 3, (5,8) and (5,4) would be 4, (5,4) and (8,4) would be 3, (8,4) and (8,2) would be 2, and lastly (2,2) and (8,2) is 6
Now you add all of them up which will be 6+3+4+3+2+6 = 24
so the perimeter of this figure is 24<span />

Square lMNO is shown in the diagram below what are the coordinates of the midpoint of a diagonal LN
sashaice [31]

Answer:

The coordinates of the midpoint of LN are (-2\frac{1}{2},4\frac{1}{2})

answer (4)

Step-by-step explanation:

* Lets explain how to find the midpoint of a line

- The coordinates of the midpoint of a line whose endpoints are (x1 , y1)

 and (x2 , y2) are x=\frac{x_{1}+x_{2}}{2},y=\frac{y_{1}+y_{2}}{2}

∵ LMNO is a square

∵ The coordinates of point L are (-6 , 1)

∵ The coordinates of point N are (1 , 8)

- Let the coordinates of point L are (x1 , y1) , the coordinates of point

 N are (x2 , y2) and the coordinates of the midpoint of LN are (x , y)

∴ x1 = -6 , x2 = 1 and y1 = 1 , y2 = 8

- Use the rule of the midpoint above to find the midpoint (x , y)

∵ x=\frac{-6+1}{2}=\frac{-5}{2}=-2\frac{1}{2}

∵ y=\frac{1+8}{2}=\frac{9}{4}=4\frac{1}{2}

∴ The coordinates of the midpoint are (-2\frac{1}{2},4\frac{1}{2})

* The coordinates of the midpoint of LN are (-2\frac{1}{2},4\frac{1}{2})

Sanjay picked p peaches. Zach picked 17 times as many peaches as Sanjay. Write an expression that shows how many peaches Zach pi
oksano4ka [1.4K]

Answer:

17p

Step-by-step explanation:

Since you don't know how much Sanjay picked you can only explain as a variable. So just put 17 next to p which is 17*p

Please help!! The slope of the line passing through the points (-3, 4) and (4, -1) is ___.
oksano4ka [1.4K]
I hope this helps you

slope=m

(-3,4) x'=-3 y'=4

(4,-1) x"=4 y"=-1

slope formula :

m. (x'-x")=y'-y"

m. (-3-4)=4-(-1)

m.-7=4+1

m=-5/7

Whats the area of a polygon with vertices A(2,3) B(12,3) C(6,0) and D(2,0)
Vanyuwa [196]
This shape is trapezoid

top of the trapezoid is 10 (12-2)

and the bottom is 4 (6-2)

the height in 3 (3-0)

so the area will be
((10+4)  \times 3) \div 2  \\  = (14 \times 3)  \div 2 = 42 \div 2 \\  = 21
the area is 21
