From laboratory measurements, we know that a particular spectral line is formed by the rotation of the carbon monoxide molecule

(CO) and it appears at a wavelength of 2.6007 millimeters (mm). The spectrum of an interstellar cloud of gas shows the same CO line appearing at a wavelength of 2.6008 mm. What can we conclude about the gas cloud?

Answer:

hange in value is because the observer and the  source has a relatively high speed

Explanation:

The emission of a molecular with is always the same, the reason why they change in value is because the observer and the source has a relatively high speed.

As the energy of the beam varies inversely with the wavelength, this shift is due to the fact that the earth and the cloud are moving away from each other.

If we want to find the velocity eta value we must use the relativistic Doppler effect

      f ’= fs √ [(1- v / c) / (1 + v / c)]

You can comfortably hold your fingers close beside a candle flame, but not very close above the flame. why? challenge (optional)
Inessa05 [86]
The candle flame releases hot gases, which directly go in upwards directions. Due to which the air near the flame of the candle is very hot and dense. The particles along with vapour move up. And since the sideways, the air is not very dense and hot, we are able to hold the candle. In anti-gravity region, there will be no density differences and also, the convection process wont occur. So, the candle quickly snuffs off.

What determines if a material is a conductor or an insulator? Explain your answer and provide at least one example of each.
Dmitry [639]
A conducting material conducts or allows electricity to flow, while an insulator does not allow electricity to flow. For example think of a water pipe, if the pipe has a hole water can flow, on the other hand if it is just a solid rod, no water can flow through. I hope this helps.
