We know that the formula to of acceleration is given by,

a=\frac{V_A}{t}

Re-arrange to the Velocity,

V_B=at (1)

We know as well for second Newton's law is,

F=ma

We can re-arrange for the acceleration, so

a= \frac{F}{m} (2)

Replacing (2) to (1),

V_B = \frac{F}{m}t

Our values are,

F=6N

m=3Kg

t=1.5s

V_A=4.5m/s

Substituting the values,

V_B = \frac{6}{3}(1.5)

V_B =3m/s

We have two components of a net velocity, so we can calculate the direct force through,

V= \sqrt{V_A^2+V_B^2}

V=\sqrt{(4.5)^2+(3)^2}

V=5.40m/s

Due to the fact that no one can consume .04 of a tablet, we can round down this answer to 1. This means that Mr. Jones should take C- 1 tablet per day.

I hope I've helped! :)

Which person is weightless?
ahrayia [7]

Answer: Option (b) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

The force of gravity acting on an object helps in determining the weight of an object. But a place where there will be no gravity or have zero gravitational pull then it means the person will be weightless.

For example, force of gravity on moon is zero which means any object or person on moon will be weightless.

On the other hand, when a child is in the air as she plays on a trampoline then it means gravitational pull form the earth is acting on it. So, it will definitely has some weight.

Similarly, a scuba diver exploring a deep-sea wreck is under the ground where there will be force of gravity. Hence, it will also have some weight.

Thus, we can conclude that an astronaut on the Moon is the person who is weightless.

Problem 6: A bullet in a gun is accelerated from rest from the firing chamber to the end of the barrel at an average rate of 6.3
solong [7]

Answer:

v = 5.166 10² m / s

Explanation:

We can solve this exercise using the kinematics equations

           v = v₀ + at

as the bullet starts from rest its initial velocity is zero

           v = a t

let's calculate

           v = 6.3 10⁵   8.2 10⁻⁴

           v = 5.166 10² m / s

Ann is driving down a street at 61 km/h.
Wittaler [7]

Answer:

12.267 seconds approximately.

Explanation:

The units can be simplified into m/s, in which case you would have 61000/3600. Simplify that to 16 and 17/18. This is your meters per second, so multiply that by .724 to get the answer.
