We know that the formula to of acceleration is given by,

a=\frac{V_A}{t}

Re-arrange to the Velocity,

V_B=at (1)

We know as well for second Newton's law is,

F=ma

We can re-arrange for the acceleration, so

a= \frac{F}{m} (2)

Replacing (2) to (1),

V_B = \frac{F}{m}t

Our values are,

F=6N

m=3Kg

t=1.5s

V_A=4.5m/s

Substituting the values,

V_B = \frac{6}{3}(1.5)

V_B =3m/s

We have two components of a net velocity, so we can calculate the direct force through,

V= \sqrt{V_A^2+V_B^2}

V=\sqrt{(4.5)^2+(3)^2}

V=5.40m/s

What is the direction of the force for a negative charge moving downward in a magnetic field pointing to the left?
velikii [3]

Answer: A

Out of the screen

Explanation:

Using right hand rule, the magnetic force is perpendicular to the plane form by the magnetic field of a charged particle and its speed. Which will be into the screen.

But the negative charged particle moves in the opposite direction of the positive charged particle. Therefore, the magnetic force direction will be out of the screen

Can someone explain the normal force? where does it come from? ...?
Vilka [71]
<span>The normal force is the support force exerted upon an object which is in contact with another stable object. For example, if a book is resting upon a surface, then the surface is exerting an upward force upon the book in order to support the weight of the book. The normal force in itseñf comes from the third law of Newton as a reactive force</span>

What is the difference between mutual flux, leakage flux and magnetizing flux<br>
Lemur [1.5K]

In simple words, flux can be stated as the rate of flow of a fluid, radiant energy, or particles across a given area.

<u>Explanation:</u>

<u>Mutual Flux:</u>

  • The magnetic lines present in among two magnets or solenoid is mutual flux.
  • These are the lines in which the attraction and repulsion happens.
  • The SI unit of mutual flux is the Henry

<u>Leakage Flux:</u>

  • In simple words, it can be stated as  the magnetic flux which does not follow the specially designed way in a magnetic circuit.
  • Leakage flux in the induction motor takes spot due to current runs through the essence of the induction motor.
  • The SI unit of Leakage flux is the Weber

<u>Magnetizing flux</u>

  • Magnetic flux is an analysis of the entire magnetic field which moves in a given field
  • In simple words can be defined as the Magnetic flux is what generates the field around a magnetic material.
  • The SI unit of magnetic flux is the Weber
