Answer:

a)v = 476.28 m / s , b) T = 6.69 10⁵ N , c)  λ = 0.486 m , d)     λ = 0.35 m

Explanation:

a) The speed of a wave on a string is

          v = √T /μ

also all the waves fulfill the relationship

          v = λ f

they indicate that the fundamental frequency is f = 980 Hz.

The wavelength that is fixed at its ends and has a maximum in the center

          L = λ / 2

          λ = 2L

we substitute

           v = 2 L f

let's calculate

           v = 2  0.243  980

           v = 476.28 m / s

b) The tension of the rope

             T = v² μ

the density of the string is

            μ = m / L

            T = v² m / L

            T = 476.28²   0.717 / 0.243

            T = 6.69 10⁵ N

c)          λ = 2L

            λ = 2  0.243

            λ = 0.486 m

d) The violin has a resonance process with the air therefore the frequency of the wave in the air is the same as the wave in the string. Let's find the wavelength in the air

          v = λ f

          λ= v / f

          λ = 343/980

          λ = 0.35 m

A porcupine eats 3,000 J of plant material. Of this, 2,100 J is indigestible and is eliminated as feces, 800 J are used in cellu
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

3%

Explanation:

The total energy ingested is 3000J and of those 3000J, 100J are used for growth and reproduction, this is the part of production in the porcupine, since the other 800J and 2100J are used for internal processes of the porcupine.

Therefore the production efficiency is 100J of the 3000J, let's find out how much it is in percentage:

\frac{100}{3000}=0.033

⇒0.033=3.3% ≈ 3%

The correct option es 3% of production efficiency.

A rectangular loop consists of 80 turns, each carrying a current 8
liberstina [14]

Magnetic moment of loop is given by the formula

M = NiA

M = 80*8 *0.4*0.3

M = 76.8

now magnetic field is given here

B = 40 * 10^{-3} T

Now the torque on the loop is given by

T = MBsin\theta

T = 76.8* 40*10^{-3}*sin30

T = 1.536 Nm

so above is the torque on the loop.

Which equations represent the relationship between wavelength and frequency for a sounds wave
ioda

Waves can be described using a number of different characteristics of a wave. Wavelength and frequency are two such characteristics. The relationship between wavelength and frequency is that the frequency of a wave multiplied by its wavelength gives the speed of the wave
