If you are going skiing do you need high or low friction and why?

Chemistry

Low friction between you/the ski vs the snow.

if you think about it its kinda like you and a slip and slide...water helps decrease friction so you slide (snow does the same for the skiing) but without it you just flop and don't go anywhere (very easily anyway).

The solid has a mass of 180g. What is the density of the solid?
xxTIMURxx [149]
To find density we have to know the values of density and mass. Here mass is given which i 180g.
we know the formula to find the density is:
Density = Mass / volume
so the density will be 180 / volume = 180g per unit volume
if we know the volume, we can find exact value of density.

If more powdered Kool-Aid is added to the same amount of water, what happens to the solution?
Furkat [3]

Answer:

The Kool-Aid mix by itself is a solid, made up of sugar, flavorings, and dyes to color it. When you add it to the water, this powdered mix seems to disappear.  If we kept adding Kool-Aid mix to the solution, the water would keep dissolving the mix until it became saturated, or until it couldn't dissolve any more mix.
