Two identical food packets were dropped from a helicopter. The first food packet was dropped from a height of 1,681 feet and the
Kazeer [188]

Answer:

The y intercept of the H2 is greater than H1.

Explanation:

Given,

The height from which the first food packet dropped = 1681 feet

The height from which the second food packet dropped = 961 feet

To find :

Two height functions and to compare in graph?

solution:

h1(t) = -16t^2 + 1681 is a vertical translation of h2(t) = -16t^2 + 961.

The y-intercept of h2 is 720 ft less than that of h1.

h1(t) = -4t^2 + 41 is a vertical translation of h2(t) = -4t^2 + 31.

The y-intercept of h2 is 10 ft greater than that of h1.

h1(t) = -16t^2 + 1681 is a vertical translation of h2(t) = -16t^2 + 961.

The y-intercept of h2 is 720 ft greater than that of h1.

h1(t) = -4t^2 + 41 is a vertical translation ofh2(t) = -16t^2 + 31.

The y-intercept of h2 is 10 ft less than that of h1.
