Answer:

The human brain and its secretion affect human behavior significantly.

Explanation:

The sympathetic nervous system responds to the stimuli of danger while the parasympathetic nervous system helps us to relax by secreting specific hormones.

These two systems interact with the endocrine system and release hormones and chemicals which circulate in our body and regulate our emotions and behaviors. These hormones and chemicals not only affect our growth and metabolism behaviors but also control our emotions such as anger, sadness, happiness, and fear.

In a simple harmonic motion, when the displacement from the equilibrium position is at its maximum,
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

option B

Explanation:

The correct answer is option B

When the displacement in the harmonic motion is maximum then kinetic energy at the maximum point is minimum and the potential energy is maximum at that point.

So, when the displacement is maximum, spring force magnitude is also maximum because the force is proportional to the displacement and also the magnitude of the acceleration is maximum so, the net force is also maximum.

Rearrange the momentum equation to solve for speed. Show all work.
nasty-shy [4]

Definition: Momentum = (mass) x (speed)

OK. Here we go.
Watch closely:

Divide each side
by 'mass' : Momentum / mass = Speed

A helicopter is ascending vertically with a speed of 5.10m/s. At a height of 105m above the Earth, a package is dropped from a w
Luden [163]

Here it is given that initial speed of the package will be same as speed of the helicopter

v_i = 5.10 m/s

displacement of the package as it is dropped on ground

d = -105 m

acceleration is due to gravity

a = -9.8 m/s^2

now by kinematics

y = v* t + \frac{1}{2}at^2

-105 = 5.1 * t - \frac{1}{2}*9.8*t^2

4.9 t^2 - 5.1 t - 105 = 0

by solving above equation we have

t = 5.2 s

so it will take 5.2 s to reach the ground

What is the speed of a car that traveled 500 meter in 30 seconds?
GenaCL600 [577]

Greetings!

To find speed, you need to remember the formula:

Speed = distance ÷ time

So plug the given values in:

500 ÷ 30 = 16.66

So the speed is 16.66m/s (metres per second)

Hope this helps!

9. A body is a particular amount of matter. It can be a solid, liquid or gas. It can be
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

B. Time and Space

Explanation:

Matter is a pshyical or corporeal susbtance in general, whether solid, liquid, or gaseous especially as distinguised from incorpeal substance, as spirit or mind, or form qualities, actions, and the

Within this time-and-space boundary, all matter exists. All matter is made up of atoms. Because these atoms take up space in the universe, solids, liquids, and gases are recognized as existing and may be found in all three dimensions.

Time is a figurative term. Space has three dimensions but time only has one.
