Answer:

a) 43.2 Jm⁻³

b) 0.0941 J

Explanation:

A = area of cross-section = 23 cm² = 23 x 10⁻⁴ m²

l = length of solenoid = 94.9 cm = 0.949 m

L = inductance of solenoid

N = Number of turns = 809

i = current = 9.70 A

Inductance is given as

L = μ₀ N² A l⁻¹

L = (12.56 x 10⁻⁷) (809)² (23 x 10⁻⁴) (0.949)⁻¹

L = 0.002

V = Volume = Al = (23 x 10⁻⁴) (0.949) = 21.8 x 10⁻⁴ m³

Energy density is given as

U = (0.5) L i² V⁻¹

U = (0.5) (0.002) (9.70)² (21.8 x 10⁻⁴)⁻¹

U = 43.2 Jm⁻³

b)

Total energy is given as

E = (0.5) L i²

E = (0.5) (0.002) (9.70)²

E = 0.0941 J

A person sitting still in a moving airplane is considered to be... (SP1a) a. Motionless in relation to everything in the plane.
vichka [17]

Answer:

C. Both a and b

Explanation:

Firstly, persons and objects in a moving plane as described in this question, are moving at the same speed as the plane even if there is no individual movement of these objects.

However, this question describes a person sitting still in a moving plane. This means that;

- The person is motionless in relation to everything in the plane i.e the person is not moving even if other things in the plane are.

- The person is in motion compared to everything on the ground i.e. the person is moving at the same speed as the plane, hence, in comparison with the ground, the person is moving.

Therefore, options A and B are correct

Four complete waves pass the duck in one second the frequency of this wave is
galben [10]
The frequency of a wave is the number of complete oscillations passing a given point per second.

In this case, assuming the duck is stationary, we have 4 complete waves passing the duck in one second: therefore, the frequency of the wave is
f= \frac{4}{1 s}=4 Hz

Daniel [21]

Hello!

Use the formula:

M = k * p

Data:

M = Mechanic energy

k = Kinetic energy

p = Potencial energy

Descomposing:

M = (0,5*mv²) + (mgh)

Replacing:

M = (0,5 * 59,6 kg * (23,4 m/s)²) + (59,6 kg * 9,81 m/s² * 44,6 m)

M = 16317,28 J + 26076,54 J

M = 42393,82 J

The mechanic energy is 42393,82 Joules.
