I think the correct answer from the choices listed above is option C. It would be octane that is an organic compound. They are, any of a large class of chemical compounds in which one or more atoms of carbon are covalently linked to atoms of other elements, most commonly hydrogen, oxygen, or nitrogen.

The answer is fluorocarbon.

That is a chemical compound once used as a propellant in aerosol sprays is called fluorocarbon.

Earlier trichlorofluoromethane (CFC-11) and dichlorodifluoromethane (CFC-12) were the most used chemical compound that are used as a propellant in aerosol sprays. But their use is discontinued under the Montreal Protocol.

How does gravity affect the rain during a rainstorm?
Advocard [28]

Gravity is the force of attraction between two objects, and Earth's gravity pulls matter downward, toward its center. It pulls precipitation down from clouds and pulls water downhill. Gravity also moves air and ocean water. ... Gravity pulls denser air and water downward, forcing less dense air and water to move upward.

Calculate the heat change in calories for melting 65 g of ice at 0 ∘c.
Genrish500 [490]

When ice melts, the physicals state changes from solid to liquid. The energy or the heat required (q) required to change a unit mass (m) of a substance from solid to liquid is known as the enthalpy or heat of fusion (ΔHf). The variables; q, m and ΔHf are related as:

q = m * ΔHf

the mass of ice m = 65 g

the heat of fusion of water at 0C = ΔHf = 334 J/g

Therefore: q = 65 g * 334 J/g = 21710 J

Now:

4.184 J = 1 cal

which implies that: 21710 J = 1 cal * 21710 J/4.184 J = 5188.8 cal

Hence the heat required is 5188.8 cal or 5.2 Kcal (approx)

What is the difference between ionic compund and covalent compound
sleet_krkn [62]

A covalent bond is formed between two non-metals that have similar electronegativities.

An ionic bond is formed between a metal and a non-metal. Non-metals(-ve ion) are "stronger" than the metal(+ve ion) and can get electrons very easily from the metal. These two opposite ions attract each other and form the ionic bond.
