PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!! 20 POINTS Give two examples of elements and two examples of compounds. (4 points) 16. Consider a hypot

hetical reaction in which A and B are reactants, and C and D are products. If 22 grams of A completely reacts with 14 grams of B to produce 9 grams of C, how many grams of D will be produced? Show all work! What law does this question demonstrate? (4 points) 17. HONORS ONLY: Give an example of a chemical formula and describe all of the information the formula tells you about the compound. The two examples are

a) elements: Carbon and hydrogen : C(s) and H2(g)

b) compounds: CO2 and CH4

The reaction is

A + B ----> C + D

We know that from law of conservation of mass

Mass of reactants reacted = mass or products formed

Mass of A = 22

Mass of B = 14

Mass of C = 9

Mass of D = (A + B) - (C) = 27 g

How many hydrogen atoms are in 5.70 mol of ammonium sulfide?
QveST [7]
There are 2.74603 * 10^25 hydrogen atoms. Ammonium sulfide is represented by (NH4)2S. This means that there are 8 hydrogen atoms total. There are also 8 mol of H in ammonium sulfide. We also need to use avogadro’s number of 6.022 * 10^23. Hydrogen Atoms = 5.7mol * (8mol / 1mol) * 6.022 * 10^23 per mol Hydrogen atoms = 2.74603 * 10^25 hydrogen atoms.

if you can’t already tell by the amount of questions i do not understand chemistry lol, giving brainliest
Vladimir [108]

Answer:

Ok, so the process here is to convert the mass of H2 (hydrogen gas) to moles by dividing the mass by the molar mass of H2. Once you have the moles then you have to multiply by the STP (standard temperature and pressure) molar volume which should be 22.4.

Molar mass of H2 = (1.01)x2 = 2.02g/mol

19.3/2.02 = 9.55 moles

Now just multiply the moles by the molar volume

9.55 moles x 22.4 = 213.92 Litres of H2 are in 19.3g of H2

A
BARSIC [14]

The number of C atoms in 0.524 moles of C is 3.15 atoms.

The number of SO_2 molecules in 9.87 moles SO_2 is 59.43 molecules.

The moles of Fe in 1.40 x 10^{22} atoms of Fe is 0.23 x 10^{-1}

The moles of C_2H_6O in 2.30x10^{24} molecules of C_2H_6O is 3.81.

What are moles?

A mole is defined as 6.02214076 × 10^{23} of some chemical unit, be it atoms, molecules, ions, or others. The mole is a convenient unit to use because of the great number of atoms, molecules, or others in any substance.

A. The number of C atoms in 0.524 mole of C:

6.02214076 × 10^{23} x 0.524 mole

3.155601758 atoms =3.155 atoms

B. The number of SO_2 molecules in 9.87 moles of SO_2:

6.02214076 × 10^{23} x 9.87

59.4385293 molecules= 59.43 molecules

C. The moles of Fe in 1.40 x 10^{22} atoms of Fe:

1.40 x 10^{22} ÷ 6.02214076 × 10^{23}

0.2324754694 x 10^{-1} moles.

0.23 x 10^{-1} moles.

D. The moles of C_2H_6O in 2.30x10^{24} molecules of C_2H_6O:

2.30x10^{24} ÷ 6.02214076 × 10^{23}

3.819239854 moles=3.81 moles

What are the masses of the four different BrClBrCl molecules? Express the masses in atomic mass units using six significant figu
Sliva [168]

Answer ; The question is missing in some details, but here are he details ;

The two naturally occurring isotopes of bromine are

81Br (80.916 amu, 49.31%) and

79Br (78.918 amu, 50.69%).

The two naturally occurring isotopes of chlorine are

37Cl (36.966 amu, 24.23%) and

35Cl (34.969 amu, 75.77%).

Bromine and chlorine combine to form bromine monochloride, BrCl.

Explanation:

The detaile calculation is as shown in the attachment.
