How many molecules are in 69 grams of Na?
12345 [234]
Molar mass Na = 23.0 g/mol

1 mol ---- 23.0 g
n mol ---- 69 g

n = 69 / 23.0

n = 3.0 moles

1 mole -------- 6.02x10²³ molecules
3.0 moles ---- ?

Scientists use patterns in the periodic table to what?
Luba_88 [7]
I found this on google

“The periodic table is important because its is organized to provide a great deal of information about elements and how they relate to one another in one-easy-to-use reference. The table can be used to predict the properties of elements, even those that have not been discovered.”

Tamiku [17]

Answer:

(40 g O) / (15.99943 g O/mol) x (1 mol CaCO3 / 3 mol O) x (100.0875 g CaCO3/mol) =

83 g CaCO3

So answer D), although three significant digits are not justified.
