Answer: Number of protons and number of valance electrons.

Explanation:

There are three factors which determine metallic bond strength. greater the no of protons, greater will be attraction between nucleus and valance shell electrons and stronger will be metallic bond. greater no of valance electron, greater will be attractions between nucleus and electrons and stronger will be bond.

What types of reactions are these 3 chemical equations?-
IceJOKER [234]

Answer:

*2Kl+Pb(NO3)2=PbI2+2KNO3: double replacement.

*2Al+3CuSO4=Al2(SO4)3+3Cu: single replacement.

*C2H5OH+3O2=2CO2+3H2O: combustion.

Explanation:

Hello there!

In this case, according to the required, it turns out necessary for us to recall the five types of reactions, combination, decomposition, single and double replacement and combustion as shown on the attached figure.

In such a way, since the first reaction follows the pattern AB+CD-->AD+CB we infer it is double replacement; the second reaction follows the patter A+BC-->AC+B and therefore it is single replacement; and the last one follows the pattern of combustion reaction due to the presence of CO2 and H2O on the products side.

Regards!

A 155.0 −L helium tank contains pure helium at a pressure of 1835 psi and a temperature of 298 K. How many 3.5−L helium balloons
Andrei [34K]

Answer:

5528 balloons

Explanation:

Explanation:

At constant pressure and number of moles, using Boyle's law

{P_1}\times {V_1}={P_2}\times {V_2}

Given ,

V₁ = 155.0 L

V₂ = ?

P₁ = 1835 psi

P₂ = 1 atm  = 14.7 psia

Using above equation as:

{P_1}\times {V_1}={P_2}\times {V_2}

{1835}\times {155.0}={14.7}\times {V_2}

{V_2}=\frac{{1835}\times {155.0}}{14.7}\ L

{V_2}=19348.64\ L

Volume of each balloon = 3.5 L

Thus, number of balloons, n=\frac{19348.64\ L}{3.5\ L}=5528\ balloons
