Answer:

Primero, sabemos que la densidad de el oro es:

Densidad =  19.3 g/cm^3

Sabemos que nuestro metal tiene una masa de 0.75 kg, y un volumen de 340 cm^3.

Primero deberíamos reescribir la masa en gramos, pues la densidad está escrita en gramos.

Sabemos que:

1 kg = 1000g

Entonces:

0.75 kg es 0.75 veces 1000g, esto nos da:

0.75kg = 0.75*(1000g) = 750g

Entonces tenemos:

masa = 750g

volumen = 340cm^3

Ahora debemos recordar que:

densidad = masa/volumen

Entonces la densidad de este metal es:

densidad = 750g/340cm^3 = 2.21 g/cm^3

Si la comparamos con la densidad del oro, podemos ver que esta es mayor.

Entonces podemos concluir que este metal no es oro.

g n diffraction, the formula for minima is given by a times s i n (theta )equals m lambda, where a is the width of the slit, the
ki77a [65]

Answer:

θ = 22.2

Explanation:

This is a diffraction exercise

        a sin θ = m λ

The extension of the third zero is requested (m = 3)

They indicate the wavelength  λ = 630 nm = 630 10⁻⁹ m and the width of the slit  a = 5 10⁻⁶ m

         sin  θ = m λ / a

         sin  θ = 3 630 10⁻⁹ / 5 10⁻⁶

         sin  θ = 3.78 10⁻¹ = 0.378

          θ = sin⁻¹  0.378

to better see the result let's find the angle in radians

          θ = 0.3876 rad

let's reduce to degrees

         θ = 0.3876 rad (180º /π rad)

         θ = 22.2º

The sport with the fastest moving ball is jai alai, where measured speeds can be 286 km/h. If a professional jai alai player fac
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

d= 794.4 cmExplanation:

Given that

Speed ,V= 286 km/h

=286\times \dfrac{1000}{3600}\ m/s

V=79.44 m/s

Given that time ,t= 100 ms

t= 0.1 s

We know that ( if acceleration is zero)

Distance = Speed x time

d= V t

Now by putting the values in the above equation

d = 79.44 x 0.1 m

d= 7.944 m

We know that 1 m = 100 cm

d= 794.4 cm

a diver of mass 101 kg jumps upward off a diving board into water. Diving board is 6m above water. Diver has a speed of 1.2m/s.
8090 [49]
When the diver reaches maximum height, the upward velocity will be zero.

We shall use the formula
v^2 = u^2 - 2gh
where
v = 0 (velocity at maximum height)
u = 1.2 m/s, intial upward velocity
g = -9.8 m/s^2, gravitational acceleration (downward)
h = maximum height attained above the diving board.

Therefore
0 = 1.2^2 - 2*9.8*h
h = 1.2^2/(2*9.8) = 0.0735 m

Answer: 0.074 m (nearest thousandth)

A steel wire in a piano has a length of 0.680 m and a mass of 4.600 ✕ 10⁻³ kg. To what tension must this wire be stretched so th
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

728 N

Explanation:

L = length of the wire = 0.680 m

m = mass of the steel wire = 0.0046 kg

f = Fundamental frequency = 261.6 Hz

T = tension force in the steel wire

Fundamental frequency in wire is given as

f = \frac{1}{2L} \sqrt{\frac{TL}{m} } \\261.6 = \frac{1}{2(0.680)} \sqrt{\frac{T(0.80)}{0.0046} }\\(2) (0.680) (261.6) = \sqrt{\frac{T(0.80)}{0.0046} }\\355.8 = \sqrt{\frac{T(0.80)}{0.0046} }\\355.8^{2} = \frac{T(0.80)}{0.0046}\\T = \frac{(355.8^{2}(0.0046))}{0.80} \\T = 728 N
