Determine the percent yield for the reaction between 98.7 g of

Chemistry
1 answer:

7 0
Convert 98.7 g Sb2S3 to mols.
Convert mols Sb2S3 to mols Sb4O6 using the coefficients in the balanced equation.
Convert mols Sb4O6 to grams Sb4O6. (This is the theoretical yield.)
Convert grams Sb4O6 to percent Sb4O6.
%Sb4O6 = [72.4/theoretical yield]*100

So basically your answer is 85.5%

Active Transport

Explanation:

 • A cell uses energy for the movement of substances against a concentration gradient or an electrochemical gradient that maintains a balanced concentration of ions and molecules in living cells.
 • This transport of substances is known as Active transport mechanisms which are the basic function of the cell membranes.
 • The energy used is in the form of ATP.
 • Active transport occurs when there is a difference in the concentration of particles on both sides.
